My self-summary
I am largely compassionate dork who loves to be around funny yet compassionate people. Translated, that means I am a low-key person who is not really into a large social scene. I prefer hanging out at home keeping up to date on all things cars, electronics, buses and trains, and other assorted time killers.

To get this out of the way, I'm a very large guy. I'm 6'1 and 350. While yes, it does not define all of who I am, it is who I am today. While I certainly look to do something about it positively, another person has to be ok with it. In a perfect world it wouldn't matter. However, this isn't a perfect world. I understand that humans need physical attraction, I get it. I say this not to sound as if I'm putting myself down. But for better or worse, if you would be embarrassed to be around me, obviously you wouldn't contact me anyway. When I was younger I would avoid describing myself to avoid the negativity. Now, I'm ok with just being honest and go forward. I'm somewhat passive when people have told me for someone who looks more like a center for a football team, they expect the opposite. That was a long way of saying that we shouldn't fret all the details and go with the flow. I think.
What I’m doing with my life
Living day to day and hoping each day is no worse than the last one.
I’m really good at
I am great at listening to people when they need someone to talk to and offering advice on many different matters. I am good at reading people and sorting through the drama, which I'm not a constant fan of, as harsh as that sounds.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am shy until I get to know someone, and then I won't shut up! They notice I love cars and know too much about the things most people probably do not care about. I can elaborate that a lot more another time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite movie is Convoy. If you have to ask what it is, then I might ask you to look it up. It is a cheesy, crazy kind of film from the 70's but for some reason, I love it. The Car is another 1970's cheese fest but I love it. Admittedly, I'm not an enormous movie buff as I rarely go to the movies. I've been enjoying seeing movies new to me but at the same time nobody would associate me with a large movie vocabulary.

Blondie is my favorite band but I love so many genres of music. It's impossible to list all my likes but anything from Classical to Psychedelic Trance would be a good description of my favorite genres.

I have fallen in love with Antenna TV and MeTV, stations that show nothing but older shows from the 1950's to the early 1990's. I guess there's something comforting about watching shows before my time and ones I grew up with. Seeing Wonder Woman again reminds me of when I used to spin around in our front yard as a child hoping I'd turn into Wonder Boy. Don't ask!

I would say Thai food is my favorite and still there's a lot I haven't tried. I'm sure I would love most everything. I would also say Asian foods appeal to me the most but I'm not opposed to a variety of cuisines. I didn't get this shapely body eating alfalfa sprouts and celery for every meal! 😂
Six things I could never do without
My family, my car, the Internet, Thai food, Brookings, Oregon, and TV. I would add that this list isn't 100% in stone but we all can change our minds.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I wish it was much cooler outside when it is 100F! Yes I'm not a fan of heat waves but it is quite hot here all summer. I need to find a way to get over it.

I do find myself thinking a lot about getting older along with seeing family get older and wondering where the time has gone, and everything that comes with the inevitable.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually hanging out at home wondering what is on QVC next...LOL

Actually I'm probably watching older TV shows while I'm searching the Internet for useless facts.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I wish stupidity hurt. And I love station wagons!
You should message me if
You are a dork, like me! Seriously, if you are looking to make a new friend who is laid back, you want to laugh a lot (hopefully with me, not at me) and is not afraid of a big guy. I am really just a guy who happens to be gay but does not announce it to the world. Yet, certainly I don't hide it. I'm just someone you might see out in public doing regular stuff, just being me. If that interests you, then you must say hello. Or you might say, bonjour.
