My self-summary
I embrace life and love to travel. I seek the goodness in all, and I try to live life authentically and experience many new and different cultures. To live my life wisely and genuinely, reaching out in joy to help others---always with the intention of contributing and learning something of value.

I feel so blessed to be living in the United States where all of our basic necessities are taken care. We have such freedom in this country to express ourselves.

I am grateful for my family and friends that have offered and do offer love, compassion, wisdom and encouragement. Through their community and friendship we share beauty, love, surprises and excitement for life.

I am thankful for my present circumstances; for I know they offer opportunities for growth. I am appreciative for the life I have been given and the life I am creating.

I am understanding, candid, and genuine.
What I’m doing with my life
As a lifelong learner, I acknowledge that every day presents opportunities to keep learning and to share insights with others. As I grow in understanding meet new friends and try fresh approaches may I find a genuine and meaningful connection with others.
I’m really good at
I have always thought of myself as a “Jack of all trades (traits) and Master of none”. I am a person who is adept at many different kinds of work and someone who has many different personality qualities. As far as life skills go I enjoy using humor to make people laugh and relax. I try to share my beliefs through teaching, actively participating in events and by setting a good example. I am in the helping or caring profession so I seem to be helping those who are less fortunate or in need.

Socializing, cooking for friends and family, entertaining in my home and making new friends are all activities I get pleasure from. I believe in finding happiness and contentment in simple things and everyday life. Understanding the world around us from local, national, and world events and continuing to expand my knowledge and awareness is very important to me. Art and culture are an ongoing part of my life and finding and taking on challenging activities is satisfying.
The first things people usually notice about me
Other than my appearance, the first thing that people notice about me is I give of myself openly and generously. I can be shy at times and unassuming.

I smile a lot, especially when I am nervous.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Reading is active I truly enjoy. Some of my favorite authors are Harlan Coben, James Patterson, Sue Grafton, Jonathan and Faye Kellerman to name a few.

The types of movies I enjoy are: Action (Disaster), Adventure, Comedy, Crime, Detective Story/Courtroom Drama, Gangster, Love/Romance, Social Drama and Thriller.

My all time favorite musician if you haven’t guessed by now is Jimmy Buffett. I also enjoy all kinds of music genres. Rock music from the 60’s and 70’s, Eagles, Chicago, Three Dog Night, and Rolling Stones to name a few are bands I truly like. I listen to some Country, Jazz, and Big Band, Pop vocalist, Blues, Folk, Reggae, Soul and R&B. Then you have people like the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, James Brown and Bob Dylan.

I enjoy a variety of types of cuisine. Chinese food, Thai, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Greek, Cajun & Creole, American, French, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Southern & Soul, Southwestern, Caribbean, Cuban, and Spanish. I am multi-cultural when it comes to cuisine, art, music and dance.
Six things I could never do without
A spiritual foundation; social responsibility, local and global; self improvement, creative and intellectual; friendship and family; forgiveness and harmony; and financial independence.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about inner peace, divine order, forgiveness, prosperity, letting go and letting god, faith and healing.
On a typical Friday night I am
The work week is over and TGIF! Call some friends and have a potluck and game night. Try out a club with live music or see a local improv troupe. Find an outdoor (weather permitting) bistro and people-watch. "It's not just for Paris." Dinner at a locally owned restaurant and a movie. Just remember the weekend is ahead and be sure and have some fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Jimmy Buffett's Gulf coast persona is a lifestyle I would love to imitate. His music speaks volumes to me from his more thoughtful side on “Come Monday” to the fun loving “Margaritaville”. His tropical world view, efforts to save the manatee, business acumen and his perseverance are traits I admire. Long live the “Parrotheads”!
