I’m really good at
Badminton, back massages, geography, Spanish, compromise, doing things last minute, taking my dog for a walk and humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I should just post my Facebook profile on here I'm learning.

Books: I like everything having to do with political science, history, evolutionary biology, nature and most other non-fiction things. I liked A Long Day's Journey into Night, American Pastoral and some Hemingway stories back in college, but fiction and I aren't bffs.

Movies: A Woman under the Influence, any bad horror movie (Dead Snow), Eyes Wide Shut, Dancer in the Dark, Glengarry GlenRoss, Herzog, Bergman, Big Lebowski, Clue, Monster Squad, New World, for some reason Rachel Getting Married, No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood. As far as TV: Arrested Development, The Wire, Mad Men, Party Down, Eastbound and Down, Modern Family, Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny, Rachel Zoe and Flipping Out.

Music: Nina Simone, Mofro, Led Zeppelin, Wayne Escoffery, Bonnie Prince Billy, Radiohead, Tim Hecker, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Van Morrison, Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, Cut Copy, Chopin, Amy Winehouse, Wood Brothers, Al Green, Meatloaf, Anne Murray and Miike Snow.

Food: Oysters, steak and gin martinis/single malts.
The six things I could never do without
Outdoors, silence, meals with friends, politics, stationery and my passport.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The next big vacation I'll take and realizing I can never know enough.
On a typical Friday night I am
Last 6 Friday nights: DC for Halloweenapalooza, in taking a bath listening to music, out at a documentary screening, in South Carolina visiting family, in Seattle on vacation and in Philadelphia for my birthday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
that I often play Meatloaf when I'm drunk.
You should message me if
you like the profile, no?
