My self-summary
Hello there,

How would I describe myself, in a few bullet points?

1 - I cry sometime listening to Hallelujah from Leonard Cohen, or the Stabat Mater from Pergolesi.
2 - One of my most memorable travel moment, was crossing the mountains of Yunnan, throughout the night, in the dead of the winter, my driver having a gun and a sword on his back seat - just in case!
3 - I have 4 adorable sisters and I love them to bits
4 - I ran for 250km in several deserts, grinding my teeth but never giving up.
5 - I spent many a night up talking about music, philosophy, religion, history or the meaning of life with my friends.
6 - Silent in a large group - bubbly with small group of friends
7 - Very serious about my work.
What I’m doing with my life
Like most people, work is taking an awful amount of my time. But not all.
I keep my remaining time for my travels in the region, doing a lot of running over the week end. Socializing a lot during the week.

You can also find me in cafes, with a book open, enjoying the sun and ipod plugged in.
I’m really good at
That would be very pretentious to say anything.

Just for the sake of it: my salads are not bad.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am quite introverted, unless I know enough people in the group.

My jokes are not always politically correct ...

I have a big smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books: The Alchemist from Paulo Coelo, The Chandeler with seven branches from Zweig and the biography of Frederic Hohenstaufen.
The main theme of these books or stories and that we all have a dream and a purpose in life and to fulfill our lives we have to pursui our dream and never give up. Frederic Hohenstaufen was one of the first humanist prince of western civilisation. He was a philospher curious about other cultures and point of view.

Food: what could we do without food. I am not a terrific cook but really enjoy tasting all kind of foods: chinese, french (of course), thai, indian, middle eastern. And don't ask me about wine: I have a little cellar at home of exceptional wines that I share when I dine with friends.

Music: classical - house music - english pop. Ectlectic because I go through phases in my tastes.
The six things I could never do without
Do at least one long run in the hills over the week end.
Having challenges at work
Reading books
Seeing my friends a couple of times a week
A healthy does of good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Career plans - which skill to acquire and what is the next step.
On a typical Friday night I am
Like any average Joe in Hong Kong: out with a beer with mates somewhere in Central. But usually will go home early. Don't want to kill my week end.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Always late when it comes to pay bills...
