My self-summary
Geeky child of the Eighties, now in adult form and wondering what the next few years have in store. I'm a huge comic book fan, love movies and the cinema and have taken my music interests to the DJ decks of a local bar in recent years - the jury is out on the talent level currently, but I suspect it might be heading in the right direction! Born, raised and currently double-parked in Bournemouth, I'm debating a change of scenery in the mid-long term.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm the Supervisor for an independent restaurant in Bournemouth. Specialise in cheese, triangles and occasionally cheese on triangles. Occasional DJ. Often seen dancing when in presence of other DJs.
I’m really good at
Video games, remembering rather useless trivia, I seem to get a higher-than-average amount of compliments about my tea-making abilities for some reason. Procrastination is high up the list, even took me that long to add it here!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Films first; Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Royal Tenenbaums, Lost In Translation, The Iron Giant, Man On Fire, Stranger Than Fiction, Thank You For Smoking, Up In The Air, the works of Hayao Miyazaki, Grosse Pointe Blank, The Avengers, The Replacements amongst many.

Not a big TV viewer these days, but love Community and Last Week Tonight. Just recently discovered Rick and Morty - what a show! Fleabag was a terrific discovery. Daredevil rocked and classics like Frasier, Battlestar Galactica (remake), Arrested Development, Stargate SG1 and Farscape will always hold a special place.

Music is far harder to do a list for as the selection is broad and quite varied. I've a big love for general indie-disco and electronic vibes, love proper funk and disco, 90s alternative rock and 80s classics; everything from punk through new romantics to pop. I'll give most things a listen though dub step still seems to act like ear and brain repellent presently.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why I woke up with THAT particular song in my head and why it's followed me into the shower and why for the love of Pete am I still singing it?? Earworms literally haunt me for days. That and comic books, music, space and the cosmos, green energy and the environment
On a typical Friday night I am
Working these days, that's the curse of jobs in hospitality

On the chance that I get the evening off...probably at 60 Million Postcards, either behind the decks or on the dancefloor.
