My self-summary
I'm looking for friends with similar interests, especially people in photography. If you like to go to parks, frolf (or at least try), climb, bicycle, make really bad puns, read and are interested in the world around you, have an interest in art and design and maybe a savory new recipe, we'd probably get along really well. It's also preferable if you are part pirate and do not mind being ridiculous.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm building a photography business photographing editorial, marketing, advertising, photojournalism and event photography. I'm also working as a media manager and event organizer for an establishment here in St. Louis. When I have free time I work on my fine art photography and catch up on projects that probably should have been done a month ago. My life is weird and I get to do a lot of things I never thought I would.
I’m really good at
photography, making up stories, rock climbing, hiking, making a fool of myself (and there's always an opportunity), growing tomatoes. I'm good at writing when I get around to it. Though, I wish I got around to it more often.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm pretty tall.
I usually get "you're funny" the first time I hang out with someone.
My beard grows in pretty quickly, so I am always at some interval of clean shaven and unkempt; It usually ends up falling somewhere right in the middle of dead sexy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just about any of Neil Gaimans' novels, including graphic. Anything by David Sedaris, Christopher Moore, Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, Pablo Neruda. I love too many movies and listen to too much music to list. Food is my main reason for existence....So, all of it. All the food, give it to me, especially Thai food and Italian.
Six things I could never do without
Photography, music, fine food, friends, a means to express myself, and the ocean.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whatever's listed above this.
On a typical Friday night I am
Putting on socks. Photographing a concert or event. Out at a party. Working on my night moves. Reading a book. Going to sleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Once, my brother and I had a Margarine eating contest.
It didn't end well.
You should message me if
You think you should. And if not, you probably should anyways.
