What I’m doing with my life
I am currently on an extended break from school, however, the constant nagging from my mother to go back is starting to take its toll. I am currently looking to change my major from Business Administration to Nursing. I love people and I enjoy helping others. Currently, I spend my time working as a manager for a restaurant in Seattle. It's not what I plan to do for the rest of my life, but it will do for now. As far as personal relationships go, I have some great friends that I couldn't live without. I have a little brother who can sometimes be a pain in the ass, but I love him anyway. Mr. Right? Well, I'm sure he is out there somewhere. Have I found him? I have met some great guys and some not-so-great guys. I suppose it's all a part of the game.
I’m really good at
I dislike answering a question that says, "What are you REALLY good at...". It feels like boasting. However, if you were to ask my friends, "What is something that Paul is really good at?", I think that one common answer would be, cooking. I am passionate about food. Learning about it, cooking it, and definitely eating it. If I had to guess, I would say I own very near 100 cook books >.< I'm very interested in the science behind food.

Though I am confident I can beat mayo into an emulsion with more speed than any of my friends, I am sure that there are plenty of great cooks out there. This is a dating site, and I'm sure if you are reading this you are probably gay. Let's face it, the gays love to cook :p

I guess that another thing I am really good at is, communicating. It's a weird skill to list under "things I am really good at.." but, I feel it deserves mention. I am quite comfortable meeting new people and don't often find myself at a loss for words. I can be quite humorous, I am told. Not only am I good at speaking, but I am quite adept at listening. I'm one of those people you can vent about your day to.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oh gosh, I have no clue. I might say my lips. They are pretty "lush" if you know what I mean. Also, I am short [only 5'5"]. After one got to know me, they might say I am funny, nice, and thoughtful. I am always putting other people first. I want to make sure everyone is having a good time and will go out of my way to try and please people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Wow, this is gonna be tough. As far as books go, I really enjoy historical fiction and fantasy. I like to be taken to a different, more exciting place when I read. I really enjoyed reading, "In the Company of the Courtesan" and "The Birth of Venus" both by Sara Dunnant. I also own quite a few** cook books and books on molecular gastronomy.

**see section "I'm really good at..."

I don't watch too much TV because I don't really have time for it. However, I do love to have Golden Girls or The Nanny playing in the background while I am working or surfing the net. [Got to love YouTube, right?]. I used to love and watch Dexter religiously, until the finale of season 4. After that, I was so irritated with the show I couldn't stand to start season 5.
UPDATE: Thanks to my awesome roommate, I have been "sucked in" to a couple new tv shows. I have been watching Grimm, Once Upon A Time, Scandal, and Glee.

I love most food. Seriously. Well, I absolutely abhor Miracle Whip, but I guess that is more of a "condiment".

If I could eat on type of food everyday, it would be Korean food. It's the greatest. I suppose I am biased though, being that I was born in Seoul and raised on it for half of my life.

One type of food I could probably live without, would be Mexican food. I know, its weird. Everyone in Oregon/on the West Coast loves Mexican food. It just doesn't sit well with me.

Oh, and I am not too fond of beans.
.... I guess I am a little more picky than I think :p
Six things I could never do without
Family, Friends, My phone, Internet, A kitchen to cook in, Air Conditioning.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. Where do I plan to be in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years? Am I doing the right thing? Payroll. Schedules/Scheduling. Labor Reports. Recipes. Do I have enough butter at home? WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE MIRACLE WHIP??!? What am I going to cook for dinner? Where should we go out to eat? Sex. Should I go to the gym for a second round of cardio? How can people HATE cats--they are so adorable. When will Apple make a phone that is shatter resistant?
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying a glass of wine or ice cold micro brew at home/out on the town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
IF I told you, it wouldn't be so private... now would it?
You should message me if
You are looking for a laid back, fun loving, genuine "nice guy". You want to swap recipes. You think I am attractive. You want a friend. You want to get to know me and see where things go. You think that we might "click". You want to.
