My self-summary
I'm looking for an active person who is interested in music and reading and enjoys discussion.

As a cerebral person, I have fun doing anything that involves my mind or thinking strategically, and often relax by reaching for the nearest book. If one isn't handy, I'll either grab a video game or watch a hockey game.

I enjoy board games, card games and deeper conversations and am able to talk thoroughly about many different topics. I love to learn about new things and appreciate learning about the hobbies other people are passionate about.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently working for a financial firm in the Philadelphia area with a goal of being an investment manager one day. Passed the CFA level III exam on 6/4.

Socially, I play trivia and run a book club. I enjoy live music, theater and calmer environments and go out to dinner with a group of familiar people every other Monday. My hockey team plays once a week and I often can be found out with my roommate in West Chester.
I’m really good at
Working towards goals until I accomplish them.
Coming up with silly profile jokes.
Finishing things I st
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Count of Monte Cristo (classic)
Catch-22 (modern)
American Gods. (recent)

Thinking about these books, each of them has a protagonist that lives in a world similar to ours, but is thankfully not the same. Things I've learned: Revenge is a dish best served cold and just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean I'm not going to have do my 40 missions.

This changes a lot. I listen to lots of different genres in volume.
I'm currently listening to a lot of Caravan Palace. Swing is a nice change of pace from the alternative rock that I was heavily listening to prior to it.

Silicon Valley is a current favorite but I'm really excited to see what Stars does with American Gods.

It's hard to turn down a chicken diablo sandwich. Easy to make and easy to eat. Complex dishes like fettuccine alfredo or a well prepared NY strip are also awesome! However, if we count deserts, it's gotta be baked Alaska.
The six things I could never do without
Opportunities to learn.
Dinner with friends
A goal to work towards
Vacations to somewhere I've never been
Interesting conversations
Coffee. Black if hot, with cream and sugar if iced.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whether I should go to Greece or Austria as a next major vacation.
How to answer the question, "I spend a lot of time thinking about"
On a typical Friday night I am
Grabbing a few close friends and some of my favorite board games. Usually, they will then convince me to put down the board games and head to the bar for a casual drink and discussion.

Sometimes however, I get lucky. Say it with me "Yes, we Catan!"
You should message me if
You want to get coffee.
You want to increase my supply of silly jokes.
