I work in television.
I like word play and banter.
Barbecues are good, I like cooking outdoors with a fire, there's nothing better than grilling after a summer day at the beach.
I was once a vegetarian for a few years and then I went to a barbecue and ate all the chicken, it was awful.
I enjoy looking at good work from shoes to cars to art and everything in between.
Museums and galleries are interesting to me.
I grew up in South Africa and spent a few years in London at various points in my life. I have travelled a fair bit.
Chow hounding or fine dining, depending on the circumstance.
I don't drink but I I'm perfectly happy if you do.
I have a dark sense of humor. These are absurd times we're living through and being able to laugh at the situation is extremely healthy. A good friend of mine used to say, "if you don't laugh, you cry". Life is bitter sweet and nuanced, there are many shades of grey between the black and the white.
I'm pretty normal if you ask me, but then what is normal anyway? Are you normal? Do you even want to be normal?
This whole profile thing is a bit dry. I'm not like that in person, I'm a bit less dry, just a bit.
The Guardian, Vox, The Nation, Daily Beast, Slate, Salon. (I've read more about Trump in the last six months than I actually care to admit).
Good Fellas, Boogie Nights, Annie Hall, Sexy Beast
Premier League Football, Broad City, Stranger Things, Bojack Horseman.
The Clash, The XX, Joy Division/New Order, Bob Dylan, Amadou and Mariam, Mano Chao, Elbow, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Radio Nova really rocks. Reggae got soul, funk and disco too, 80's music makes me nostalgic.
