My self-summary
Self employed collector and dealer in natural history specimens. Lover of freedom, wide open spaces, night skies, old mines, hot springsand slot canyons.

Before moving to Tucson, I worked as a massage therapist, practiced martial arts for many years, and studied percussion with masters from West Africa.

I'm happiest exploring a place I've never been, learning something new, or dancing to something funky.
What I’m doing with my life
Learning things, Playing Music, Growing, Getting By...
I’m really good at
Questioning everything. Being honest. Experiencing awe.
The first things people usually notice about me
...probably whatever's coming out of my mouth at the moment. I don't speak much, but when I do it's unfiltered and guaranteed to offend some humorless (insert insulting term for race, religion, sex, sexual preference, or political alliance)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to structure my life to allow for the greatest freedom. Liberty and human rights. The origin of human thought, belief, and culture.. and where these ideas are taking us.

I often wonder how the great advances over the millennia have led us to gangster rap, televangelism, and Sarah Palin. When did the devolution begin? How do we reverse it?

Propaganda and how to make it work for truth and reason. How to loosen the moral stranglehold on society while creating a true ethic.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, the Mohave. Chile, Bolivia, the Congo, the deep oceans and deep space. Lately, New Orleans has been on my mind. What a town.

The genetic bottleneck subsequent to the Toba catastrophe.

Mostly, I think about rocks.
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading? Camping? By a fire somewhere? Harassing religious folk? Working? Scheming some excuse for a roadtrip? Lately, sleeping and staying home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll funk anything that grooves.
You should message me if
We have something to offer one another.
