My self-summary
Greetings fair honor me with your presence on my humble profile!

So, here I go re-writing this AGAIN. This part is always hard for me, but I think I'm just going to keep it simple this time.

I'm weird, I'm just going to throw that out there. I like to be goofy, I like to talk about random things that interest me, excite me and make me happy. These things often include movies, games, interesting science facts, philosophical nonsense, obscure youtube videos, ridiculous memes, hilarious cat stories, etc, etc, etc. I love quoting movie lines too, and doing voices and impersonations. You might catch me doing an accent on occasion too. I've gotten pretty good at Irish, Scottish, British, African, Indian, and a few others, and they are oh so much fun to do! I also really love to sing. I'm shy though, so you may not hear me until you get to know me fairly well.

I'm a computer programmer by day and gamer by night. Games have helped me cope with some difficult things in my life, so I will always have a special place in my heart for them. I've even tried my hand at making them...maybe one day that will be my job!

I like to think of myself as old-fashioned. I strongly believe that chivalry is not dead, and being a gentleman is extremely important. I would also consider myself a feminist. I strongly believe that a woman can do anything she puts her mind to.

My faith is very important to me. I've struggled with it and spent a good deal of time trying to find myself and figure out what I believe and where I stand, but God has always been a constant in my life and I believe he's guiding me to where I need to be. I'm still learning and he's still working on me, but I like who I have become and I hope he is proud of his work. I know my Mom is, and that means the world to me :)
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I graduated from OSU in 2014 with a degree in Computer Science. I have a job as a software engineer (programmer) that's been paying the bills, but it's not really the area I'm interested in, so I'm not sure how long I'll stick with it. I'd really love to develop video games as a career, and I've dabbled in it a little bit, so I might move in that direction for my next job. I'm hoping God will lead me to the right job as I always felt that he was leading down this path for a reason, and making video games would definitely be a way to reach a lot of people, so maybe he can use that if that is what I'm meant to do.
I’m really good at
I'm kind of a jack of all trades, master of none kind of guy. I love making people laugh, and I have a pretty quirky sense of humor. I'm pretty good at video games, and I enjoy them. I'm good with all things computers: programming, solving problems, building them, etc. I've also gotten really good at making mac n' cheese, but not just any mac n' cheese, I put all kinds of crazy stuff in it!
The first things people usually notice about me
Most likely my long, black hair. I've been growing it out for about 5 years, just because I wanted to do something different. I am considering chopping it off though as it's a pain to take care of.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't really read that just takes so long! I've tried speed reading but when I read I play it out in my head and have the characters speak the lines, which tends to slow things down. I did really like the Narnia books and the Alex Rider Adventures (teen James Bond). I've been wanting to read The Lord of the Rings and A Song of Ice and Fire, but haven't gotten around to it.

I'm a sucker for Sci-fi and fantasy. I grew up watching the few Star Trek TNG episodes my parents had recorded on VHS, then I recorded every single episode once we got TV. I'm a total geek/nerd. Oh, and MARVEL, I have yet to see a MARVEL movie I haven't liked!
I have this bad habit of quoting movie lines during conversation. I can't help it, when people say things that remind me of movie lines, I can't help myself! If you want to talk movies/shows/games, I'm your guy. I love it! I have too many favorites to list, so if you're curious, just ask :)

I like lots of different kinds of music, but mostly anything with a good melody, whose lyrics I can understand (so I can sing along), and doesn't give me a headache (I'm looking at you Rap and Heavy Metal). I grew up listening to christian rock, so I'm somewhat partial to music of that ilk, but I also like other stuff too. I grew up watching 80s and 90s movies, so I love music from that era!

What kinds of foods do I like? Yes. I'm really not too picky, and I'll try nearly anything once. I recently had Tai, Sushi, and Indian for the first time, and I love them! I'm somewhat partial to Mexican, and I LOVE fruit, and pizza!
Six things I could never do without
This is tough...I'll give it a shot:
1) Jesus
2) Family (love those weirdos!)
3) Pets, cats in particular, meow :3
4) My computer
5) Music, and yes, I even sing in the car/shower
6) And finally food, you can probably tell that by looking at me :/
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What my future might look like. I've been feeling kind of lonely lately, so I often imagine myself with my future wife, try to imagine what she'll be like, what I'll be like, etc. I think about a lot of random stuff too, like unsuccessfully trying to solve the world's problems. I have lot's of ideas, but many of them wouldn't work because of the self-centered nature of human beings.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely playing video games or netflix, or hanging out with my girlfriend...if I ever get one *sobs*. I kid, I kid...please message me :'(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a virgin, and proud of it! I'm saving myself for that special someone whom I will put a ring on :)
You should message me if
You're a nerd too and want to talk about nerdy things with a nerdy guy! Also, if you share my beliefs, that is definitely a plus. I definitely want to find someone with strong faith in Christ, so that's also a plus. If you're curious though, a simple conversation never hurt anyone, so feel free.

Note: I am NOT looking for casual relations, if you catch my drift. I'm looking for a serious relationship, so if you're not looking for that too, perhaps you should look elsewhere.
