My self-summary
Queer femme. I'm direct, compassionate, caring, confident, smart, friendly, and independent. I'm carefree, but extremely passionate about certain things like my job. Sometimes I'm a little goofy.

I speak Sesotho (apparently not a language recognized by okcupid). I learned the language while living and teaching in Lesotho, a small country in Southern Africa.

I have a weakness for intelligent women who are tomboyish.
What I’m doing with my life
Getting rid of my excess energy; I lift, I play roller derby, I roller skate outside and I walk a lot.

I also teach tiny humans at a school for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. They make me laugh on a regular basis and I love what I do.
I’m really good at
Dancing, laughing, seeing the good in people
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and my long eyelashes. My height, 5'8"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Some of my favorite movies include But I'm a Cheerleader, Beginners, Broken English, Amelie, Breakfast At Tiffany's, and the Wizard of Oz. I also enjoy a good scary movie.

My music collection is eclectic. I tend to listen to things based on my mood or the occasion. I like to listen to anything with a good beat or that I can sing along to.
Six things I could never do without
Family, friends, camera, music, roller skates and my pet bunny.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'd like my next photo project to be.

What it means to be a radical educator. How race and gender play out in my classroom.

The intersection of femininity and queer.

What my next tattoo will be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at roller derby practice or sometimes at the roller disco.
You should message me if
You like playing/watching sports and you're more tomboyish than girly girl. You have a sense of humor.

It's a bonus if you like to dance.
