My self-summary
Just moved to Seattle from DC in August of 2015 to start a new chapter in my life. Working less and enjoying life more is definitely on the agenda. Would love to make some active friends to get out and share some adventures with me, especially the outdoor kind.
What I’m doing with my life
After 11 years on active duty in the USAF, I switched to working in IT management as a government contractor for my day job. Now that I'm in Seattle I have finally dropped the govt part and am working in the private sector. I'm also a pro photographer as a side job -- mostly events, but also weddings, portraits and live performance. I need to start shooting more creative stuff at some point, too.

I'm trying to focus on getting more fun back in my life instead of working all the time so I'm definitely up for adventure, especially outdoors.
I’m really good at
On the creative side, I'm a good singer (classically trained and what not) and getting to be a rather good photographer if I do say so myself. I play piano, too, but wouldn't call myself good at it.

On the non-creative side, I'm extremely organized, pretty decent cook (Cajun food is my specialty), and a seasoned pro at staying up too late at night.
The first things people usually notice about me
People compliment my smile a lot. It's the product of 8 years of braces, so it better be something decent.
