My self-summary
Hello there! My name is Michael. I'm looking for a smart woman who has an excellent sense of humor and moves to the beat of her own drum. Someone who can put on a decent act of normalcy when the occasion calls for it, but has an uncontrollable strange side. I find that I'm most drawn to people who pursue their interests and ideals regardless of what those around them think.

If you're off-kilter or nerdy but somehow make it work for yourself, I will find you extremely attractive. If you're un-self-conscious and take delight in simply existing, I will find you REALLY attractive. If you're funny, you might just get a marriage proposal. Doing your best to seem normal and follow all of the rules will probably put me off, no matter what you look like. Authenticity will win the day.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
Following my intuitions, listening, working out, meditating, watching UFC (guilty pleasure), eating (any and all cuisines except cheese), embarrassing authority figures, and debating difficult topics (I'm an arguer, I admit.)

Dry humor. (Not trying at the moment.)

Having discipline.

Spelling last names.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, I guess my hair. And my mug. I got a cleft in my chin. Some say I resemble a young Robert DeNiro, but with better hair.

To review: Hair, mug, cleft, DeNiro resemblance.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Taxi Driver, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Tommy Boy (stupid, but hilarious), Borat, Spinal Tap, Raging Bull, Boogie Nights, Monty Python, Fargo, and so on.

Music: Dillinger Escape Plan, Unearth, Between the Buried and Me, Opeth, As I Lay Dying, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, and the like.

TV: Seinfeld, It's Always Sunny, South Park, Rick and Morty, Peep Show, The Office (UK, not US), Extras, Curb, anything about aliens on the History channel, Chopped, Bar Rescue, Barmageddon.

Books: Tenth of December, Ham on Rye, White Noise, The Corrections, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Fathers and Sons, Let the Great World Spin, In Persuasion Nation, A Hero of our Time, Anna Karenina, Nine Stories, etc, etc.
Six things I could never do without
Something to read.

A computer.

A car.

Intelligent conversation.

Lists of things I can't do without.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to read or write next.

Whether science can conquer aging.

What a non-existent sibling of mine would look like.

How to make the most of my time on this earth.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably out seeing a movie and/or eating somewhere with a friend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love Teen Mom 2.
You should message me if
You think we'd hit it off.
The two of us
