My self-summary
Hey, I'm Connor. I recently moved up to the Portland area to go to grad school and enjoy the area.

I enjoy discussion and debates over things varying from deep philosophy to what movie is better. I also am a very dry and sarcastic person, who enjoys poking fun at my friends. If I start making fun of you, its a special way of me showing my affection. Music is pretty important to me. I love sharing music and experiencing new genres.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, being a nerd, etc, etc
I’m really good at
Vector calculus and other cool things.
The first things people usually notice about me
Depends on whether or not my hair is colored at the time. Otherwise, probably my goofy smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movie: Scott Pilgrim. That's the only one I'll ever need

Book: Stephen King books, shit tons of Manga,

Shows: Scrubs, The Office, How I Met Your Mother, the League, House of Cards, Daredevil, Arrested Development, the Walking Dead or Doctor Who.

Music: The Decemberists, Mumford and Sons, The Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Modest Mouse, Hot Chip, Justice, Sufjan Stevens, Kavinsky, Anamanaguchi, Muse.
Six things I could never do without
1. The internet
2. Music
3. Tv shows about terrible people
4. Netflix to watch said terrible shows
5. Coffee shops so I have a place for first dates.
6. I don't know...food and water? I don't even care if its a cop out
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The universe and religion. Deep, I know. If I weren't an engineer, I would probably go into theoretical physics. Mulling over universal interactions and how people or religion could influence it really gets me going.
On a typical Friday night I am
Playing Magic with friends. Smoking a bowl. Probably finding my way to Denny's late at night to have long winded conversations about rpg mechanics while munching on fried foods. Watching Netflix.
You should message me if
You like discussions on anything, enjoy dry sarcasm that I pass off as wit, and want to argue over who has better taste in music.
