My self-summary

I've always been rather terrible at trying to sum myself up, but here goes! Writer, artists, and a complete loon. I'm a history fanatic to the extent that a double-major degree in the Classics/History is in the works. I love to dance, love to sing (badly), and I don't mind a good debate every now and then. I am also rather flamboyant at times, and enjoy telling a good story. I am also a ridiculous nerd/geek, and when I say I am a nerd/geek, I really mean it. I have cardboard video game stands in my room.
What I’m doing with my life
I am working on getting a degree in the Classics and history, all while writing random things that catch my creative and imaginative fancy, drawing ridiculous things, and making rather elaborate if not time consuming and costly costumes
I’m really good at
Making ridiculous faces and sounds to accompany said faces.

Also, teaching people about incredibly specialized and strange historical things. I specialize in the history of sexuality and gender, which is always good for a few awkward if not interesting lessons
The first things people usually notice about me
I honestly have no idea. My eyes? My height? My charming yet slightly grating voice?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favourite authors would have to be: Joe Abercrombie, Richard Morgan, JK Rowling, CS Friedman, George RR Martin, Terry Pratchett, Lynn Flewelling, Robin McKinley, Peter S Beagle, and numerous others. I'm a fantasy buff.

Movies: Gran Torino, Downfall, A Single Man, Black Beauty, The Pianist, Princess Bride, Star Wars, Harry Potter, West Side Story, About a Boy, Ed Wood, Arsenic and Old Lace, Bringing Up Baby, Thin Man

Shows: Oz, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Dead Like Me, Samurai Champloo, Gankutsuou, Nurse Jackie, Modern Family, Antiques Roadshow

Music: Anything but dubstep. Fan of big band music, mindless pop tunes, sappy country, ridiculous metal, cheesy rap, and bouncy dance.
Six things I could never do without
Family and friends
A piece of paper to write or draw on
Hearing someone laugh
[insert two other equally cheesy but heartfelt things]
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I tried to peg down what, exactly, I am thinking about at any given moment I fear I might go insane.
On a typical Friday night I am
Alive and breathing, I should hope.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I shed my skin every half-moon and become a dolphin for the evening.
You should message me if
You like a good laugh and don't mind hearing about the lives of men and women long since dead.
