If I was asked to describe my personality, interests, and hobbies, I would likely create some kind of snarky response. Luckily that is not the case here.
I like thinking about things, and doing things. Not necessarily the same things, mind you, but things in general. Some things I would rather think about than do. Such as attempting to swim away from a horrifying denizen of the deep as it draws ever closer, ever closer; its loathsome visage hidden by the claustrophobic darkness of the ocean.
See, that would suck to do.
And other things I'd rather do than think about. Like eating cupcakes. Cupcakes are awesome.
I can enjoy basically anything (besides the aforementioned Lovecraftian predicament), and can get along with pretty much anyone. My sense of humour ranges from simple (pigeons are inherently amusing) to the obtusely obscure when it comes to puns. I am like a chamaeleon. Only less like a lizard and more like a person. And less like a chamaeleon and more like a guy who's pretty relaxed about stuff.
So really not like a chamaeleon at all. They do seem like pretty chill little dudes, though. Jus' sayin'.
I guess this has been a pretty meta/mimetic representation of the question. Probably a good time to end it before it gets any more obscure.
Currently pottering about before heading back to university to do a Masters of Business starting next year. Good times. Apparently a BA isn't much good for getting employed or something. Scandalous.
I am the king of up-selling my friends or otherwise justifying their outlandish purchases. It is uncanny.
I'm also good at flicking cards.
Mostly the awesomeosity. Awesomositude? I am unsure of the correct adjective.
Authors - Chuck Palahniuk, Michael Lewis, Max Barry, Max Brooks, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Stephen King (short stories and Dark Tower stuff mostly), TS Eliot.
Movies - My favourite movie is Walk Hard, and I have no idea why. That's not to say it's the BEST movie I've seen (that's probably Fargo), but I'll be damned if I don't enjoy every moment of it. I love movies, even bad ones. From Coen Brothers masterpieces to Ryan Reynolds romantic comedies (seriously how good is Definitely, Maybe).
TV - Community, How I Met Your Mother, Futurama, House, Castle, American Dad, Black Books, Arrested Development, Top Gear, Friday Night Lights.
Music - Eclectic is a very good way to describe my taste here. I like long DJ sets, but also weird acoustic bands. The Mountain Goats, Why?, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Scroobius Pip are all getting high rotation pretty regularly. I am also looking forward to the new Kanye album, it's sounding awesome so far.
Food - I'm always partial to a good burger. My cravings are generally built around texture as opposed to taste, though. Very fond of crunchy, but also like chewy quite a lot. Not toffee chewy, or chewing gum chewie, though. Good wine gum chewy.
New things to find out about.
In jokes, and the creation of more in jokes.
The Oxford English Dictionary. I am serious here. I've been without it for months and I'm starting to get withdrawal.
Terrible drivers. As much as they frustrate me, at least they keep me interested.
A non-typical friday night would involve unicorns.
And now I'm one of them.
Life's funny, Beartato.
Or if you like long rambling messages.
Or if you acknowledge that blue is a flavour.
Or if you can explain to me why the winks or woos or whatever here are sponsored by a rum.
