Since many guys describe themselves as being nerdy, I feel the need to clarify. My nerdy subtype is that force equals mass times acceleration rather than a 'may the force be with you' nerd. I like math (I'm a high school math teacher), science and their museums, NPR, non-fiction books, and fun facts. It's not all intellectual pursuits - I like cooking & baking, game night with friends, and riding my bike. Most of my closest friends I've met through playing in the gay softball league here in Philly. It's something I look forward to doing every spring.
Looking for someone to share a walk with on a nice night to get some pie or soft serve. Hopefully for the next 40 years or so.
Like I said above, I'm a high school math teacher here in Philadelphia. Despite the craziness with the school district, I do love my job. I teach at a magnet school here in the city, so I things aren't as crazy there as other places, but the funding shortfall still hurts.
When I'm not working I like to cook & bake and I'm humble brag by saying I've been told I'm very good at it.
I also worry I watch too much Netflix.
Movies: superhero movies are always fun, When Harry Met Sally is my favorite Romantic Comedy.
Shows: I can easily waste hours watching Law&Order. I'm a nerd so I love Battlestar Galatica and Star Trek. I like my sit comes as well, Modern Family, Friends, How I Met Your Mother (which I'm still mad about)
Music: Adele, florence and the machine, pop music, show tunes and american standards.
Food: anything good.
3) Good Food
4) Good Cocktails
