Actually the story is that I like to read quite a bit. I have a rule that I'm not allowed to buy any new books until I've read at least three of the books I already have on my shelf. I constantly break that rule. I recently moved from Portland and Powell's Books was little help with their sweet sweet shelving...
Music: Ramones, to the extent that I have a Ramones tattoo and have an issue when people say "The Ramones", and especially when they type "The Ramones", as opposed to the Ramones.
Hickey. They're kind of like Kiss, but harder.
As a Latino it is incumbent upon me to like Morrissey and the Smiths and I do. Is it really so strange?
I like the punk rock from the early 90's. I like the newer hipster indie crap. That doesn't mean I'll make mooney faces at you and try to make out with you while Bon Iver is playing.
I admit I can be a little snobby about music but unless it's contemporary christian or ke$ha I can keep my mouth shut.
The oeuvre of Kurt Russell sums it up nicely. I also like Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan, Strange Brew, and other guy movies. I will agree to watch good movies though and will watch even a bad John Cusack movie. Also, I have a high Gosling tolerance(by tolerance I mean I would consider going groupy for him), so I'll watch any of his stuff.
I will eat just about anything. I love food. I like to cook it. I like to read about it. I like to smell it. I like to window shop for it. I like to day dream about it. Most of all, I like to place it over a bed of coals.
Why can't I enter stuff into the "I'm looking for" section. Like, what if I'm looking for a good used copy of Abel Sanchez and Other Stories or the best plate of nachos in town?
Maybe watching a band, maybe getting a drink with friends, maybe hiding in my room and tearing through a book or a new record.
