My self-summary
So quick disclosure, I AM married but I'm not here as a typical male douchebag just looking for some extracurricular sexual encounters. My wife is BI, and we recently became involved with another couple, some close friends of ours, but it did not quite work out. It has however introduced us to the Poly lifestyle, from googling and finding out that this thing we became involved in wasn't so uncommon.

Its not just about sex. For me really, its never quite that simple. I'm in all honesty not interested in casual sex with near strangers. Some degree of casual maybe, but there has to be some connection other than physical attraction, some emotional bond is what makes a sexual experience truly fulfilling. Sex is, to me, the most unguarded form of intimacy, the pinnacle of intimacy.

What me and my wife would both like to someday have is what is referred to as Poly-Fi triad. We're not looking for a unicorn and we're not looking to swing. We want to develop an actual relationship with someone. Take note I did say "develop" - no one expects any kind of immediate commitment or anything like that. Just that we want to meet someone, and see where things go.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently I'm a stay at home dad (3 children.) I do alot of photoshopping and have been told that I should put myself out there and that there was money to be made doing it. We'll see.

I do some music too, mostly remixes and working with loop based stuff, and my keyboard.

I enjoy playing video games, games like Skyrim and Dark Souls are my cup of tea. I also enjoy table-top gaming as well. Havent had the opportunity to play much anymore, my last group kinda dissolved - but soon I'll be teachin my kids so that should be fun.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
I really couldnt say... I used to have my head shaved and wore a longish goatee a bit like Scott Ian, so that probally was the first thing people noticed about me...but as you can (kinda) see in the pic, that has now changed lol. Who knows I might go back to that look. If I'm drunk then the first thing people may notice is my lack of pants.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books...I dont have time to read like I used to. I got into audiobooks for awhile and I need to do that again, it helps to be able to 'read' while doing other things. I like Dean Koontz alot. Some Stephen King - mostly his short stories. I also like nonfiction like Stephen Hawking, Lawrence Krauss, and Richard Dawkins. I love Game of Thrones and tried the audiobook ... was listening while doing dishes and realized I wasnt actually doing any dishes cuz I had to concentrate so much on everything that was going on. Plus, all the characters have their typical fantasy-like names and the reader was using different accents - it was impossible to follow along while doing anything else at all.

Me and my wife love Walking Dead, The Americans, Hannibal. We used to watch Dexter and Breaking bad before they ended. We also love Elementary and Perception. I watch Person of interest but she ironically has lost interest. I also watch Haven and Falling Skies. I need my own shows for when she's not here and I'm doing laundry. Me and my daughter love watching Star Trek Voyager and Buffy together. Havent introduced her to X-Files yet, but I will. We watched Comsos as a family and that show is great. Neil deGrasse Tyson is a hero of mine. We also all watch Faceoff together.

Most of the music I listen to is more obscure than typical radio play fare. I love The Afghan Whigs - who just reunited and we'll be seeing them in concert soon. Their music was kind of the soundtrack to when me and my wife were dating. I'm a huge fan of anything Trent Reznor or Maynard James Keenan touch. I like Thom York, Massive Attack, HUGE fan of Saul Williams and would love to see him do a poetry reading some day. Used to be a big fan of Marilyn Manson but havent been too impressed by his latter stuff. Unlike most Manson Fans I dont dress all in black and my favourite album is the one the rest all hated - Mechanical Animals. And then of course DIE ANTWOORD are brilliantly strange. Some other faves are Muse, Tricky, Roots Manuva, Lamb, Delerium, Depeche Mode, Beats Antique, Gorillaz, Coil, Mindless Self Indulgence, Max Richter, Cinematic orchestra...I could go on and on and on. Oh and I love 80's music. Its what i usually clean to.

Some of my favourite movies are Memento, Pi, The Ring, Afflicted, Transcendence, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Paranormal Activity, Primer, Donnie Darko, Horrible Bosses, The Hangover,Very Bad Things
Six things I could never do without
1. My Wife.
2. My children.
3. Eyesight.
4. Hearing.
5. Mental faculties - my wife has clear instructions to euthanize me if I go senile.
6. The ability to somehow produce something creative. Photoshop, or music, or something.
7. I know it says SIX things but I really don't think I could live without wikipedia...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Religion, Philosophy, Politics, the nature of the universe and reality...
On a typical Friday night I am
I dont know that I (we) have a 'typical' any night. Lately we have been hanging out with friends alot more on weekends, bonfires, drinking - that sort of thing. We don't go too crazy though, our party-hard days are pretty much behind us.
