I'm really genuine, relaxed, easy going and fun to be with. I am confident and comfortable in my own skin. I like to meet new people and share experiences. In fact, I could probably start a conversation with just about anybody. I consider myself somewhat old fashioned I guess. I have high values and morals, and always use my manners. I will admit when I'm wrong, and need an apology when I'm not. I appreciate a true gentlemen.
Now for my other side...I'm an adventurer and also a thrill seeker at times as well. A good friend of mine calls me a "giant ball of energy" lol. I'm a certified scuba diver, and throw around the idea of teaching one day. Love to zip line and hike in the hills. Yes, I've actually even jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. If you have a motorcycle or an atv I would love to come along for a ride. Not too long ago I owned an atv...that is until I flipped it over on top of me. I have since decided to leave the driving to someone else lol.
I don't always need to be on the go. I am perfectly content to relax at home, prepare meals together and spend quality time with just each other watching a movie or maybe have some friends over. I love the outdoors (more so when there is no snow), and most everything to do with it.
MORE THINGS I LOVE...
Travel. Especially out of the country, anywhere warm with great beaches and clear water since I scuba dive. The mexican riviera and Curacao are favorite spots. I would love to see Australia, Africa, Egypt and South America some day. Yes, my bucket list is long (probably endless) when it comes to travel, but I have traveled from a very young age.
Foods...too many to list because there is not much that I don't like, but for a start, a good ribeye or filet, lobster, crab, sushi. Oh, okay! so I like fine dining, and I enjoy getting dressed up too. Now sharing a bottle of wine or enjoying a few beers at the dive around the corner suits me just fine too. Actually though, I enjoy going out to eat for any meal. It doesn't have to be expensive, but it should at least be good if you're spending money.
Gardening. My specialty is flowers. I love to take them indoors when they bloom. This may sound silly, but I feel that their color and natural perfume give off so much peace and relaxation. Years ago I used to grow orchids in my basement. The smell is intoxicating...It reminds me of being on vacation in the tropics. I miss that...
SOME FAVORITE THINGS…Thunderstorms, kissing, warm autumn days spent exploring, dining out, listening to the rain hitting the windows in the middle of the night, photography, long drives with no destination, holding hands, wineries, long walks anywhere with the person you love, cooking together, museums, my cats, the city, traveling, watching the snow fly while cuddling by a fire, friends and family of course, metroparks, the sun, dark chocolate, did I mention kissing...I mean doesn't everybody?
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR...someone to share my dreams and passions with, and for that person to want to share theirs with me. We should be able to talk to each other about anything and everything! I want to find a mate that longs for me when we are not together, and who can't wait until we are. Someone that loves to hold my hand, and who isn't afraid to give me a kiss me in public. I want us to find new things to discover and explore together...whether they're around the corner or a days travel away. I need someone who is my first thought of the day, my last thought at night and then to wake in their arms in the morning. Have you ever watched someone you truly love sleep? It's very soothing. I want to find a partner to live, love and truly experience life with.
We should be able to express how we feel while being completely open and honest. We'll respect, trust and be loyal to each other (that's important!). We will both put in 100% effort to keep the relationship growing, spontaneous and fresh.
Things that I'm passionate about? Well let's see...if you've gotten this far you've probably realized that it's almost everything...
This question is somewhat hard for me to answer because in my lifetime I have had many things and have also lived with just the bare necessities. So in reality there really aren't many things that I could never do without.
Now if the question were The six things I wouldn't want to do without...well that's another story! lol. For starters though, my toothbrush! My pillow is another one...probably sleep...I don't ever seem to get enough, but somehow make it on 4-5 hrs a night. My cats, they are great companions while I'm home...they are my kids.
