My self-summary
What matters to me:

-Family: My parents have been married over 45 years and have been a tremendous inspiration to me. I've been taught the value of lifelong bonds and appreciating what you have. We party with up to my 3rd cousins so there's never a dull moment. Cats also count as part of the family.

-Friends: I greatly prefer small groups of lifelong friends who know me well instead of large groups of acquaintances. My best friends and I have a mutual appreciation for each other's intelligence, talents, bold sense of humor, fears and quirks. Realness is the most admirable quality one can have. If you can appreciate who someone is without all the masks, you've got a lifelong friend.

-Independence: No matter what my relationship status, its important that I maintain my own identity and space. I live on my own and have my own car, both of which are tremendous freedoms.

-Nature: Scenic views are awesome. Whether it be spending a day hiking into the mountains, being at the beach for sunset and listening to the waves crash, or a drive along the coast, I'm content.

-Technology: Computers (PC guy), Smartphones (Android), modifying devices to work the way I want.

-Architecture and design: I love driving around beautiful neighborhoods and historic districts and admiring the various building styles. I'm also the one my family comes to for solving disputes on color or interior design choices. One day I want to build my own colonial style home.

-Humor: My humor is very random, sarcastic, dry, crude, often mirrors the situation. I'm a grammar nut, so if you use "to" instead of "too" or misuse words, prepare for a joke. Smartasses bring my sarcastic humor out and are the most enjoyable to be around. I don't hate any group of people but find it fun to joke when they exemplify stereotypes. "I'll be as untouched as the turn signal in an Asian woman's car" (Family Guy) had me on the floor laughing because I see it every day. I'm difficult to offend and will probably laugh or add to jokes about gays or white people.

-Self Awareness: Yeah, I'm a big guy, so what? I've kept a distance from "the scene" because I don't like feeling like a numbered puzzle piece that fits their game. The right guy for me is going to appreciate my personality and appearance as a package. A best friend and boyfriend in one is the ultimate goal, with the ability to have fun no matter where we are. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and mutual respect and support is a true gift. Show me your true self, I'll show you mine, and we can make each other stronger.
What I’m doing with my life
I work at a bank as my primary job and I fix computers as a side job. In my free time, I go out with friends, go to the gym, go bowling, keep up on tech gadgets, etc. In the near future, I'm hoping to get a tech related job.

I seek to make people's lives better. I am very knowledgeable in computers, electronic devices, architecture, interior/exterior design, and I take great pride in helping people find solutions that work for them.
I’m really good at
Holding deep conversations; listening to people; writing; being there for friends when they need me; analyzing a situation and finding a good compromise.

Negotiation. When I have my mind set on a particular outcome, I will fight to make it a reality. I know how to put myself in other's shoes and make my case for what I want.
The first things people usually notice about me
How talkative I am, the proper grammar I speak with, my blue-grey eyes, my football player build
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite TV shows: Breaking Bad, Family Guy, South Park, Daria, U.S. of Tara, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld. I don't watch TV for much else.

Favorite Music: Anything with a good beat; 80's, 90's, Alternative Rock, Pop Rock, Adult Contemporary, mild Rap. The only genres I'm not big on are Classical or Country. All time favorites include Garbage, Smashing Pumpkins, and Foo Fighters.

Favorite Food: Italian, Mexican, Japanese BBQ, American. Love steak, chicken, salad, sandwiches, shrimp, calamari.
Six things I could never do without
My family, my friends, my cats, my laptop, my cell phone, my car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music, technology, architecture, social phenomena, politics, anything controversial, guys, where life is headed.

Communication, and how much better the world would be if everyone communicated more effectively.

Trying to understand why some people let arbitrary labels dictate their goals and purpose in life; How to make the world better and the corruption that stands in the way.

My next long term relationship. The hopes for finding someone I share true love with. I want someone complex, someone who will treat me with the utmost respect and receive it in return. I believe very strongly that in a relationship, my eventual partner and I will be on equal footing, and benefit from each other's strengths.
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to dinner with friends, going to the movies, going to a kickback, heading to the beach or having friends over for a movie night. Sometimes, simply watching Netflix alone can be awesome.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Though I'm talkative, I'm not the best at introductions. If you want to get to know me, take a chance and hit me up.

If you got through this long winded profile and I've amused you, then let's chat. When you write me, tell me more about yourself, and what you feel we have in common. Don't be intimidated, as I am a really nice guy. Even if we met and there wasn't a spark, we might end up as friends.
The two of us
