My self-summary
-music (and by extension, art) is the most important thing in my life. without it, i would not be alive today or continue living tomorrow.
-intimacy over sexuality.
-i spend most of my time alone.
-i have been described by people i know as, despondent, quirky, reserved, and unrepentant.

things i like to do
-burn incense and listen to music.
-play with my cats
-cook and bake.
-clean the house, throw things away, organize.
-interstate driving. looking at things but hardly ever stopping to see them is the hardest part though :/
-watch the same old tv shows i've seen over and over again.
-walk around town at night to see what i can see. not down town, i'm talking places i see and drive by all the time but never ever examine until i walk thru them. admittedly, i haven't done this in a while.
What I’m doing with my life
releasing and distributing music i feel is worth while under my own music label.
I’m really good at
-being truthful. i prefer not to lie ever, if at all possible.
-listening intently, not waiting for my turn to talk. my attention span is very wide and i always make eye contact.
-keeping things organized. data-basing, cross-referencing and things of that nature.
-making mix tapes. something i've been pretty good at since high school.
-thinking of the perfect thing to say hours, days sometimes weeks after the context of it is irrelevant.
-writing, sometimes.
-i'm real good at folding laundry, that isn't a joke.
The first things people usually notice about me
the conspicuous absence of expression on my face. its not something i consciously do to look less approachable or even mean. it truly bothers a lot of people. smiling and showing expression doesn't come as easily as with others but you can be assured that whatever comes to the surface is sincere.

other than that, i'd say my height or my eye color. also the silver band i wear on my right hand, i can't count how many times i've been asked "r u married?? what is that?" it's just jewelry, i promise.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
how absurd the world and life is,

the disparity between what i feel i deserve and what i actually deserve, between who i think i am and who i actually am.

am i living up to my words?

also, the mail. i'm usually always waiting for something to come for me through the mail, and it drives me crazy how slow the postal systems of the world can be.
On a typical Friday night I am

nah, just kidding.

at home reading and listening to records, unless i'm in san antonio for the weekend, in which case i'd be around town, spending time with my friends which i so seldom get to see.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i can be a somewhat callous individual. there are so many things in this world that don't register in my brain as important and don't warrant any place in my mind, memory and heart. all the while, i find myself to be extremely sentimental at times. seeing and hearing certain things can bring me to tears in an instant.
You should message me if
-you've got a lot of free time, but no one to spend it with.
-if you'd like to cook something together.
-you realize these li'l snippets of information are not comprehensive and can't accurately portray the many faceted nature of a person.
-or if you want to come over and listen to records with me.
