My self-summary
Dear OKCupid,
I never thought it would happen to me! But here I am - fresh out of college, working in a new city, on my own, and doing something I never thought I would - setting up an OKC account. As a 23 year old sexual tyrannosaurus and certified cunnilingus expert, I'm looking to meet single women in the area who are roughly my age. If we wind up being friends, that's cool; if something more comes out of it, that's cool too. Really, I'm just looking to have fun, cliche as that sounds.

What I’m doing with my life
Working as a content editor for a local startup, teaching myself guitar and Italian on weeknights. I recently had minor surgery for an injury I got last summer, so I can't work out right now, but normally, I work out about six days a week. In about a year, maybe more, I'd like to go to grad school in the hopes of one day becoming an English Professor.
I’m really good at
I have broad (but not deep) musical talent - I can play guitar, trombone, bass, and drums, but I'm not fantastic at any of them. Working on getting there with guitar!

People say I'm pretty funny and that I'm a good public speaker, but idunno. I really like writing - mostly nonfiction stuff - but I haven't been able to do it as much lately as I want to. One of my essays in college got selected for presentation at an English conference in New Orleans. That was cool. I DJed and wrote album reviews for my college radio station for three years. I'm freakishly good at certain video games.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either the piercing, cosmic, Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool-like blue eyes or the fivehead.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: To me, The Brothers Karamazov is basically a bible. It's packed with tons of little insights that are applicable in daily life, tremendous intellectual ideas, and heartbreaking pathos. Plus, it's just a great story.

I also really liked: Blood Meridian, Cloud Atlas (didn't see the movie), American Pastoral, A Confedarcy of Dunces, The Portage of A.H. to San Cristobal, and Sex at Dawn (that one's nonfiction, though).

Movies: Goodfellas, most of Tarantino's movies, most of the Coen's movies, Shame, Oldboy, There Will Be Blood, The King of Kong, Robocop, The Thing, and tons of others.

Music: Heeere we go. I love music so much. Can't imagine life without it. My taste is all over the place, but here's just some of the acts I like - Queens of the Stone Age, Ray Charles, Outkast, Danny Brown, the Pixies, Mini Mansions, Sam Cooke, Elliott Smith, The Gun Club, Boris, the mighty DEATH GRIPS, King Crimson, Lee Fields, Neko Case, the Replacements, Shabazz Palaces, Pulp, and too many others to count.
The six things I could never do without
-Warm Beer
-Cold Women
-Hank Hill
-Novelty Boxers
I spend a lot of time thinking about
New curse words, Beavis and Butthead humor, my next whiskey.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out, or not. I know that sounds bizarre, but it's really a crapshoot most weekends. I like being out drinking as much as staying in with a movie. Whatever feels right.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once sold my "Beautiful Smile" gold medal to pay a struggling inner-city community center's rent.
