My self-summary
Life is an interesting thing.

Sometimes we get so caught up in it, that we forget to take the time to stop and wonder at what it really is. That we're all the same, spawned from the same matter, the same energy, at the same point in existance. Formed through billions of years of controlled chaos. Governed by unseen forces that caused the gases to attract, the rocks to form, the stars to spin, and eventually...me. With the ability to ponder at how and when and why and who's to be given the credit. A microscopic universe as complex and immense as the one around us, locked inside a bone cage. Here we are, aware of the place and time thats been presented to us, doing what we can to be happy and comfortable and to experience joy and love and to be excited and to fulfill the desires of our minds and bodies, and to have others around us share those experiences.

I'm Josh.

Wanna lay out under the stars and travel through the cosmos with me?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an IT guy. I've been doing it for years at various places. Recently I started up my own business doing I.T. Solutions for companies around the area. Primarily I've been installing surveillance camera systems, cash registers, text inserters, speaker systems, etc etc etc. I've got your solution, regardless.
I’m really good at
Using Sarcasm.
Having endless patience (except when I'm driving).
Being a cat dad.
I type really fast.
Computery stuff.
Being overly obsessed with details.
I'm also kind of really good at ping pong.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look really young. I'm pretty sure every single time I'm ever in a public place someone is shocked at how old I am. And that even though I have a baby face, my hair is turning grey. :(
I guess I'm also kinda short. That's noticeable, I think?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read all kinds of stuff. I'm currently reading Broca's Brain by Carl Sagan. It's unbelievably fascinating.

My favorites are really long series. Sword of Truth, Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire. I also really like Dan Brown. I get shit for this on occasion...but eff 'em. He's an entertaining writer.

Movies: 2 words. Princess Bride.

Shows: Everything Star trek. TNG is clearly the top. The Wonder Years. Breaking Bad. Community. Big Bang Theory. The Office. (where's my Pam??), Freaks & Geeks, Adventure Time.

Music: I'm in love with everything from the 90's. Smashmouth, Chumbawumba, Fastball, Semisonic, etc, etc, etc. I also really enjoy folky music full of emotion. Guster is amazing. Mumford and Sons. Florence + The Machine. I can't get enough of Lindsey Stirling right now.

Food: I'll eat anything that contains peanut butter. I'm allergic to cashews. They destroy my stomach, but I love the way they taste. I'm weird about foods with strange textures. I don't like things that are mostly water-filled, like melons. Pineapple, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Celery, Plain Lettuce. They don't taste bad...they're just weird. Other than that, I'll eat pretty much anything. Definitely an entire tub of small curd cottage cheese.
Six things I could never do without
Intellectual Stimulation.
Chocolate Milk.
My Computer.
A sixth thing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The mechanics of the universe.

Why the number 23 haunts my life. It's my birthday, and makes some kind of an appearance daily.

Min/Maxing my life. If you know what I mean, we need to be friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Drinking a beer at the bar. Playing ping pong or pool. Or just sitting at home on my computer wandering around on the internet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was in 5th grade my class was tasked with writing a short fictional story about whatever we pleased, and then to read aloud the first few opening paragraphs. I chose to write my story about an alien. This particular alien had long purple slimy tentacles that dragged behind him on the dusty surface of the planet he was from, leaving a trail of goo where ever he went. I thought it was a pretty kick ass story, so I was excited to tell everyone.

I stood up and started to read, everything was going great until I got to the part where I described my alien. Completely unbeknownst to me, I read aloud the word "testicles" instead of "tentacles" and then described how they were long, purple, and slimy. Needless to say, the entire room burst into laughter. Including the teacher.

I nearly pee'd myself.
You should message me if
You're a nice person that isn't super critical of others that wants to make a new friend.

Being short, cute and nerdy wouldn't hurt. :)

If you play ping pong we're automatically best friends.
The two of us
