For fiction, I just recently finished Game of Thrones and I am finishing the rest of the series. For non-fiction, I am currently reading The Millennium Project, the attempt to send human beings to another star cluster. The book is named as such because it will take a thousand years and a series of substantial investments to even attempt the long journey to Alpha Centauri as the book says. Or perhaps we could travel a longer journey to Kepler186f, an earth-like planet almost five hundred light years away in a Holecene Project.
I really enjoy fun movies with comedy and action. That is why Deadpool was my favorite this year, the best romantic comedy I have every seen. I also had fun with star wars.
I plan to download, stream or rent Captain America Civil War and Batman vs. Superman.
I am really digging Colbert this year, US Politics has been absolutely insane and Colbert makes it hilarious to watch. Oh America, please change your ways...
Similar to the US election is a great series I watch not because people succeed, but because they die: Game of Thrones. Just starting now so no spoilers!
It is really hard to pick a favorite food as I love so many! From Western to East Asian, to... all of it can be amazing. I just want to try anything edible.
Favorite places in Victoria: Wanna Waffle, Bin 4, Floyds, Jack's Chinese Restaurant, Vista 18, SenZushi, Ho Tongs, Food Trucks by the Imax
The main anime and Manga I am following is One Punch Man. Absolutely hilarious, it really makes fun of the superhero genre in just the right way.
For Manga or in my case Manwe (Korean comics), Magician has absolutely fabulous art style in a fantasy setting. The story isn't to groan over either.
I really go through tons of crap for every little speck of gem I find. For me, fanfiction is enjoyable as a way of peering into the works of the amateur author. A open mike writers night if you will. I also read it to develope and practice my own writing.
I play tons of different games, video games, board games, card games, or my current favorite: DnD.
DnD is the right mix of social interaction, RPG gamestyle and actual improv/acting. I put myself into my characters and pretend I am playing a part.
DnD does to take a bit of initial investment and a learning curve.
Otherwise I play the usual card games, chess, backgammon but also: Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Risk, Scotland Yard and Exploding Kittens.

Talking, playing, seeing, any excuse to enjoy our time sounds like a good idea to me!
