My self-summary
I'm recently retired and enjoying the good life, but it would be great if I had someone to share it with. I'd like to find someone who understands the importance of being passionate about something. In my case, that would be ART. I love drawing, painting, studying art history and visiting museums. I also like to tell stories, travel, play my guitar (easy listening blues, light rock, pop and folk), make things, repair things, attend auctions and visit interesting thrift stores. My politics lean to the left, and I do appreciate a woman who follows current events. I understand that finding a good match isn't easy, but I'm the eternal optimist. I'm looking for someone who can share some of my interests. Someone who is kind, compassionate and easy going with a good sense of humor. Someone who doesn't sweat the small stuff. I understand that many of us carry the scars of difficult and disappointing relationships, but I'm willing to go the extra distance for the right person.

The education section of the profile doesn't offer many choices, so I'm adding this additional information. I attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts for several years, and I've recently graduated from the Barnes Foundation.
