My self-summary
Hey everyone! I'm Rachel. I am a makeup artist who happens to be fantastic at business and was given an awesome opportunity to manage a store in downtown Boston. I work a lot and have put my job as my first priority for years, so dating has been put on the back burner. Now that I am settled and am very happy with where I am in life, I'm ready to put it as a top priority.

I have an awesome job, apartment, hobbies, cat, relationship with my family and friends, and all that is missing is someone to share it all with. (I.e watch Netflixs, go to concerts and Sunday brunch, and do fun things with)

I'm looking for the type of man who is just as passionate and ambitious as I am. I truly believe that there's always something to be striving for and want someone who will not ever be complacent.

I should mention, I curse like a sailor and my idea of an outdoor adventure is trying to find my car in a parking lot. On the plus side, I will never turn down a round of mini golf or petting strangers animals.
What I’m doing with my life
Working mostly. Snuggling with my cat. And the gym. And Netflix. Also, going to the supermarket. I go like every day for some reason.

I manage a luxury cosmetic boutique downtown. I love it, even though I work close to 50 hours a week and am on call 24/7. There's an awesome story about how I came to be the manager, ask me about it sometime.
I’m really good at
Talking my way out of bad situations. I have talked my way from a D to a B- in a class. I'm also good at making decisions when no one else wants to make one, you don't know how useful that is until you need someone like that.

I'm good at baking and cooking. I am also a great sales person. And being modest.
The first things people usually notice about me
Generic answer: my height, my smile.

But really, that I'm most likely wearing all black. Or have very red lipstick on. Or am covered in glitter. All are occupational hazards.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love old Hitchcock movies, Harry Potter, musicals, dramas, especially comedies. If it will make me laugh, i am happy. If it makes me laugh to the point of tears even better. If i can't find a movie to watch, my fall back is one of the Harry Potter movies or one of the LOTRs.

I love all TV. I am a TV binger. I watch all shows and really don't discriminate.

I pretty much like all music. Especially if I can sing along to it. I was raised with Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, and Fleetwood Mac as background music, but I discovered rap at 12 and have never looked back.

My favorite food is breakfast food. I also have a major sweet tooth and love to bake, but I don't like to keep said baked goods in the house so I am always looking for someone to bake for.
The six things I could never do without
Black clothes
My watch

Obviously family and friends and pets but that's a given and didn't feel like I needed to include it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I am in a relaxed mode, it is what to watch next on Netflix. Work mode: what awesome event can I throw next for my clients. If I am in a semi relaxed/semi work mode: if I am too covered in cat hair/glitter to be considered presentable.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most likely working. If I am lucky enough to have it off, I am probably out for dinner with my family or my friends, because I would for sure be working early the next morning.

On my nights off, I like to get together with friends and try something new, maybe a new restaurant or concert, or even going to a paint night. I also love any chance to have friends over for dinner and to try out new receipies for them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a terrible dancer.

However, my best friend and I have a top secret Harry Potter dance that we made up in like third grade.
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humor and like to laugh.

You feel like showing me somewhere or something new and cool.

You want to actually meet up and not just message for days on end.

You are passionate about something.

You don't mind that I'm not super outdoorsy or crazy adventurous. (I promise I'm not boring)

You feel like it and think there might be a connection.

Most importantly: you have a book and or audiobook suggestion!! I'm struggling recently to find new books!!
