My self-summary
I just moved to the Nashville area this week after two and a half years in a rural part of the US. I relocated for a work assignment and THANK GOODNESS that is over. I am a natural in social situations, can hold my own in almost all conversations (preferably not politics though) because for the most I am well rounded in my knowledge and can be very charming, funny, witty and kind. I would consider myself a good friend to my friends. I am pretty content with who I am in general, I smile often. I love good, out of the box conversation. I grew up in the south, but spent most of my adult life on the West Coast and in corporate America. I have gotten away from that environment here recently for a while...It can be suffocating and stifling for those more prone to be creative types. So during my hiatus, I am enjoying painting, taking photos, and internal and external exploration. and simply slowing down my life enough to notice and appreciate all of its subtleties and splendor ... Now that I am back in a metropolitan city, arts. theater and music will soon be on the agenda.
What I’m doing with my life
Simply Living it..enjoying it day to day. My near future goal is to plant a vegetable garden and start growing my own fresh organic vegetables.
I’m really good at
Putting people around me at ease...being witty...Most things I put my mind to..!! Im not very good at reading directions that tell you how to put things together, and if there is a way to get lost going somewhere, I WILL!! lol I highly depend on my GPS...Otherwise, I like figuring out how to get things done and love learning new things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile. My eyes..my genuine friendlyness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
last read the Quantum Mind and Healing and the Gerson Therapy Movies -besides Comedy, biographies and documentaries; The Notebook; Dances with Wolves, Pulp Fiction; Memoirs of a Geisha, The Joy Luck Club; A Beautiful Life; Ben Hurr; Sampson and Delilah; Hair
art, theater, Van Gough, Madam Butterfly
All types of food but the fresher and natural and least processed the better
The six things I could never do without
music
good friends
art
theater
comedy (a laugh.. preferably at least once a day!)
mind expanding conversation (at least sometimes!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Becoming the best version of myself that I can possibly be..and remembering that people are entitled to their opinion no matter what their level of awareness is (seems to me that too many people are choosing to sleepwalk through this life and against my better judgement find it can be annoying. I sometimes have to remind myself that it is more important to be kind than it is to be right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Generally reading watching tv editing my photos..painting. talking on fb. visiting with neighbors and friends. If I had THAT special person in my life Id be hanging with him. Otherwise, I enjoy my own company and know how to keep myself busy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have always been really willing to try most reasonable (And few unreasonable) things at least once. And I seem to prefer the road less traveled no matter how many bumps are on it.
You should message me if
If you think we would be compatible and you would like to talk. meet and get to know one another.
