I've been doing political stuff for four years now, and I really like what I do. You meet a lot of fun and interesting people on the job, and have some amazing relationships with volunteers and people you work with. I want to keep working at my current gig till the end of 2015, before getting into consulting and possibly getting a law degree. My ultimate goal is to work in the White House, which is an immensely lofty ambition but hey, that's what goals are for, right?
I am Intelligent, Engaging, and Funny
I try to keep my interests diverse, and enjoy talking about movies, music, games, and a whole hell of a lot of stuff. I try to find the interesting in everything I encounter. I can usually find it *somewhere*.
I hope to never lose the capacity to be surprised.
I prefer non-fiction, but I can dig fiction if it's science fiction (love Robert A. Heinlein's stuff) or has a good amount of humor (I like Terry Pratchett a lot). Also, George R.R. Martin is God, or is so close to it it doesn't matter.
The last 3 movies I saw in a theatre were "Trainwreck", "Straight Outta Compton", and " Spectre". Liked Trainwreck, loved Compton, found Spectre disappointing. I'd say my favorite movie is either "Pulp Fiction" or "The Godfather".
I love music and rock history. The only two genres I'd say I categorically hate are Mexican country (yes, it is a distinct genre) and techno. My 3 favorite bands are the Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, and Talking Heads. My favorite solo artist is the one and only Kanye West.
I also like a lot of bands from the Oughts, like Franz Ferdinand, the Strokes, the White Stripes, the Black Keys, the Fratellis, Miike Snow...I like a lot of music.
Spotify is the best.

note that these are six "things". if it were six "people", i'd probably have to do some editing.
I crush on any woman with a penchant for history and gunpowder in her tea
Check out my match questions (they're pretty detailed, which I feel is necessary because a lot of the questions are too general).
