My self-summary
I would like to consider myself open minded, funny, and perhaps more than a little demanding at times, maybe a little creative on the lucky days. I'm also a bit arrogant sometimes, although why, I really couldn't say. I'm about six feet tall, and over weight enough for me to be really wanting to do something about it. Some people tell me I'm handsome, but I don't really think that's the case. Come meet me and judge for yourself. Other people say I'm funny or witty. I make the same offer again: Judge for yourself. I enjoy role-playing games and video games as hobbies. When I was in better shape I enjoyed casual sports and I'd like to again someday. Also, I enjoy casual plots for world domination. :P

I am introspective, compassionate, and controlling
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to find gainful employment again, as well as trying to find and read the next great American novel. Looking for new friends, new enemies, and generally trying to discover what it is people are actually referring to when they mention the spice of life.
I’m really good at
Starting and ending arguments, making people (including myself) feel guilty, making light (sometimes inappropriately) of situations, holding rousing conversations with myself to irritate people who annoy me, and just being a general goof off. Like most males of my generation, I'm also pretty good at video games, though I expect that's not quite the mating call that being good at sports is. I'm pretty good at memorizing Tabletop RPG rules too. Once again, not a skill that generally seems to attract women, but you never know.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a little loud, pretty darn assertive and people assure me I'm attractive. I'd expect the first thing people notice is that I'm about six feet tall and am told I have very captivating eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hrm....let me think for a moment. Probably Peter Pan,because of the perceptive duality of it. By that I mean how you can look at it as a child and as an adult and see the story clearly from two points of veiw, and its still very, very good.

My favorite movies are generally the ones that earn a special place in my mind or heart. They seem to always include the word "last" for some reason. The Last Unicorn, The Last Starfighter, The Last Samurai...you get the picture.

I like almost anything in music that isn't rap, though my favorites tend to change whimsically. One day it's a classical piece and the next it's a famous rock song done on Mario Paint.

I like food. I'm not picky about it for the most part. The list of things I don't like is much shorter.
Six things I could never do without
Bad music, companionship, my imagination, free will, food and drink, and of course humor.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Writing a novel. I've tried five or six times now, and I always get to the point where for some reason I hate the characters and want them all to suffer terribly, so I stop. I really want to finish one someday. Perhaps collaboration would help.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with my friends doing geeky gaming stuff.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
HRm...I dunno. I cry at the end of good movies and good books, or during moving musical pieces....and, and I feel that i must confess..that I download music on the internet *sob*!
You should message me if
You're just looking for someone to get to know, or if you actually think I sound interesting. I'll also accept reasons like "I heard a voice in my head that told me to", though I'm likely to be just a tidbit suspicious of any such answers.
