I moved up to London a couple of years ago and I just love it, the good and the bad, the city's fantastic! I love just exploring and taking in the city's hodge-podge of small parks, pubs, cafes museums and monuments. I don't even think that Londoners are unfriendly, just busy. If you talk to people properly they're normally very nice.
My hobbies are Brazilian jiu jitsu; which is just wonderful, so much to learn, so many mysteries for me to work out. I'm quite evangelical in how great this is. Also do a bit of yoga, the token inflexible male at a yoga class.
Also enjoy travelling a great deal; I've studied in Hong Kong, travelled round South East Asia and have spent a year in Latin America, being a unwilling castaway on an island for three weeks was a highlight! I also greatly enjoy gigs alongside good films and books(obviously don't enjoy bad ones!) I also infrequently dabble in stand up.
If I could describe myself, I'd say I'm a pretty upbeat guy with a good sense of humour who enjoys doing new things. Also quite introspective, probably to a fault, but think that I have a good handle on myself.
I also bet you a drink I can make you smile :-)
Practicing and loving Brazilian jiu jitsu, which to the untrained eye looks like two men rolling around the floor in a sweaty embrace, which is exactly correct 😊 but it's also a whole lot more than that.
Job wise working as a financial analyst and maintaining above average Excel skills.
The things themselves are not so important, its the why and how you like or dislike them that is interesting and allows you to gauge a person.
Happy to explain what I like and dislike in person though.
Friends and family.
Something exciting to look forward to.
a sense of optimism
Interested in improving yourself and accept that people are not perfect (I'm imperfect, so are you. This is okay :) )
You value honesty, empathy and are curious in general.
