My self-summary
I just recently moved from Los Angeles, CA (my hometown). That being said, I was hoping to make a friend or two that could help me learn my way around and develop a social life (so we'll see how it goes). I'm a pretty fun, intelligent guy who's been out of the dating game for a while and am trying to get back in it. I pretty much enjoy having a good time and am always down to try new things or go new places and create adventures. I am pretty versatile; I am just as much fun at a bar, club/lounge, the beach, a game or anywhere else as I am staying at home watching cartoons or a movie. I've also been known to be spontaneous and mysterious. I've also been known to come off quiet, but I've been attempting to work on that lol.
What I’m doing with my life
Besides still trying to learn my way around? I'm working at a middle school and am a high school basketball coach, I'm also an aspiring writer and a published author (2 poetry books so far and counting). I'm also working on getting back in school, where I'll continue my studies to become an exotic animal trainer.
I’m really good at
A plethora of things but just to name a few: My job, writing poetry, sports, making people laugh and overall just being myself lol. I seem be pretty good at giving random facts about (mostly exotic) animals as well. I am also a good listener and give decent advice, and I'm good at being a great friend as well as giving massages, and hugs (or so I've been told).
The first things people usually notice about me
One of the biggest things that ppl notice with me is that chivalry isn't dead. Aside from that, there's my height, my eyes, my voice, my maturity (and sometimes my "nerd moments") and occasionally my lips (tho I have no idea why).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Aside from the two books I've written so far, I'm a huge fan of "Call of the Wild", "White Fang", and all of Edgar Allen Poe's work. I'm also a big fan of Sherlock Holmes novels. "A Wrinkle in Time", "Of Mice and Men", and "Animal Farm" are a few more of my favorites. I'm into a lot of different types of music: hip hop/rap, R&B, soul, occasionally a little rock/alternative. I enjoy a good stage play every now and then. My favorite is "The Lion King". A few of my favorite TV shows are "Spartacus", "Game of Thrones", "Empire", "The Flash", "Vikings" and "Dexter".
The six things I could never do without
God/The Bible
A job(or two)
Video games and Cartoons (yea, I said it lol)
Pets: most likely a dog or an aquarium(or two)
My poetry
Sports (basketball and football)
A zoo or an aquarium
(Yes, I know that was more than six but so what? Lol)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next poem(s)/book(s) I plan to write
My life and its direction
Basketball(I'm a coach; can't help it)
How to become a better person
On a typical Friday night I am
usually coaching a basketball game, at home relaxing in front of the tv watching cartoons, Netflix, a NBA game or a movie, studying, writing more poetry, or glued to a video game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm honestly about ready to give up on dating.
You should message me if
I catch your interest, be it you find me attractive and would like to get to know me, something about me stands out to you, if we share similar interests, or maybe I'm someone you'd just like to say hello to (or not be scared to respond if I say hello to you first). Also if you're not intimidated by my height or California style/swag(because neither are going anywhere, ever)

Here's a humble request: If you DO like what you see or read, and want to know more...then speak up! Don't be afraid to do so. I don't bite lol

If you want to know more about me, then here I am. If you plan on being quick to judge me for who I am or am not or what I have and don't have (Yes, I get that ALOT), then by all means, move on...Peace
