My self-summary
I've been living here almost 2 years now, as I moved from Los Angeles, CA (my hometown). I still have yet to see what the PNW has to offer. I was hoping to make a friend or two that could help me learn my way around and develop a social life (so we'll see how it goes). I'm a pretty fun, intelligent guy who's been out of the dating game for a while and am trying to get back in it. I pretty much enjoy having a good time and am always down to try new things or go new places and create adventures. I am pretty versatile; I am just as much fun at a bar, club/lounge, the beach, a game or anywhere else as I am staying at home playing video games, watching cartoons or a movie. I've also been known to be spontaneous and mysterious, and I usually keep to myself. I've also been known to come off quiet, but I've been attempting to work on that.

I recently discovered that I'm INTJ according to Myers'-Briggs (that is, if anyone is into that).
What I’m doing with my life
Besides still trying to learn my way around? I'm working at the zoo, and am a high school basketball coach, I'm also an aspiring writer and a published author (2 poetry books so far and counting). I'm also working on getting back in school, where I'll continue my studies to become an exotic animal trainer.
I’m really good at
A plethora of things but just to name a few: let's start with thinking. I think....ALOT. I'm always thinking about something. I'm an extremely deep thinker. I'm known to be (sometimes overly) analytical. I'm extremely good at paying attention. I'm very observant. I'm also good at my job, writing poetry, sports, video games, taking care of my pets (which are neither dog nor cat lol), making people laugh and overall just being myself. I seem be pretty good at giving random facts about a little bit of everything, but (mostly exotic) animals seems to be a specialty. I am also a good listener and give decent advice, and I'm good at being a great friend as well as giving massages, and hugs (or so I've been told).
The first things people usually notice about me
One of the biggest things that people notice with me is that chivalry isn't dead. Aside from that, there's my height, my eyes, my voice (most likely because of how deep it is), my maturity (and sometimes my "nerd moments") and occasionally my lips (lol take a wild guess as to why).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Aside from the two books I've written so far, I'm a huge fan of "Call of the Wild", "White Fang", and all of Edgar Allen Poe's work. I'm also a big fan of Sherlock Holmes novels. "A Wrinkle in Time", "Of Mice and Men", and "Animal Farm" are a few more of my favorites. I'm into a lot of different types of music: hip hop/rap, R&B, soul, occasionally a little rock/alternative. I enjoy a good stage play every now and then. My favorite is "The Lion King". A few of my favorite TV shows are "Spartacus", "Game of Thrones", "Empire", "The Flash", "Vikings" and "Dexter".
Six things I could never do without
God/The Bible
A job(or two)
Video games and Cartoons (yea, I said it lol)
Pets: most likely a dog, an aquarium(or two), and/or a terrarium(or two)
My poetry
Sports (basketball and football)
A zoo or an aquarium
(Yes, I know that was more than six but so what? Lol)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next poem(s)/book(s) I plan to write
My life and its direction
Basketball(I'm a coach; can't help it)
How to become a better person
On a typical Friday night I am
usually coaching a basketball game. If I'm not doing that, then I'm at home relaxing in front of the tv watching cartoons, Netflix, a NBA game or a movie, studying, writing more poetry, or glued to a video game.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm known to be an introvert, and while I love going out and being social, I thoroughly enjoy my space. Basketball, animals(especially exotic), poetry and video games are practically a necessity in my life because they help bring me some measure of peace as well as keep me centered.
You should message me if
You're not a fake person (real people know EXACTLY what I mean) or you're not a disappointment. You should also message me if you're intersted enough to like my profile (seriously, why would you like my profile and not say hello?) Having a love for basketball would be nice, along with having a love for animals other than dogs and cats. Being versatile and open is always welcome. Not being afraid to chill out on the couch and get lost on some Netflix or a video game is a HUGE bonus. If I catch your interest, be it you find me attractive and would like to get to know me, something about me stands out to you, if we share similar interests, or maybe I'm someone you'd just like to say hello to (or not be scared to respond if I say hello to you first). If you can and will appreciate a gentleman. Also if you're not intimidated or put off by my height, deep voice, my passion for animals, basketball, my love for video games, cartoons or poetry, or California style/swag (because neither are going anywhere, ever)

If you've read this far and you like what you've seen/read or want to know something, then don't be afraid to speak up. Peace
The two of us
