My self-summary
Looking for my other half to explore the world.
What I’m doing with my life
Eating at five-star restaurants in a one-star fashion.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I prefer film. But hand me a book with a focus on how our world and culture came to be, like Salt, Freakonomics, Demon Haunted World, The Selfish Gene, or Sex at Dawn, and I'm right at home.

Film: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Inglourious Basterds, Oldboy, Spirited Away, Waking Life, The Fountain, Ex Machina, V for Vendetta, Garden State, The Life Aquatic, Children of Men, Moneyball, The Social Network, The Ides of March, Shame, The Fall, Senna, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, C'était un Rendezvous, The Skin I Live In, Stranger than Fiction, Whore's Glory, An Honest Liar

TV: Off the Air, Bojack Horseman, Master of None, The Mind of a Chef, Rick and Morty, Silicon Valley

Music: Eclectic. Generally, I'm listening to: Sekuoia, Fly Russia, Cashmere Cat, Moa Pillar, Ratatat, Ta-Ku, Abdominal, Cinematic Orchestra, Drake, Weeknd, Justice, Kygo, Kendrick, Sigur Ros

Food: Honestly, everything. I'm fairly adventurous eater. Right now, I'm on a tear to find Toronto's best ramen after visiting Japan and having a religious experience with a bowl of Tonkotsu. (So far, Sansotei is the hands-down winner. Any other suggestions?)

One-half of me is Persian, and I will plow through a plate of Ghormeh Sabzi at a moment's notice. It is my comfort food.
The six things I could never do without
- Watching the sun go down with a beer in hand.
- Coconut-based foods. (Desserts, drinks, pastries... you name it.)
- Louis Theroux documentaries.
- The Maillard Reaction.
- Reddit. Hopelessly addicted.
- Breathtaking views from tall buildings.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Taking a break from the career and going on a cross-continent tear on my motorcycle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think The OC was a quality piece of television.
You should message me if
You're happy with how you view yourself as a person, and you have at least one passion.

You've read Charles Warnke's "You Should Date an Illiterate Girl" and it resonated with you.

With very rare exception, I will ignore/delete any opener message that just says "hey" or asks me how my day is going. I've intentionally put a bunch of conversation hooks in my profile for people to latch onto — it shouldn't be that hard to find something to start with. ;)
