In relationships, I have a strong belief that they should be mounted in friendship. That is to say that both people are friends first, lovers second. I've noticed that the couples who last the longest have a friendship that surpasses the boundaries of the normal sense of the word and instead become something more.
My screen name is sort of silly, but I suppose it comes down to my love of pancakes and the sad amount of time I put forth into reddit.

I hate horror movies but I love most R-rated comedies and Sci-fi. My favorites would be The Hangover, Bridesmaids, Gladiator, Watchmen, Star Wars, Princess Bride, Wayne's World, The Fifth Element, Serenity, The Big Lebowski, Kill Bill etc...
I pride myself on liking a lot of different music. At the moment you'll most likely hear any of these artists: Mando Diao (the unplugged stuff is best) Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Chris Isaak, The Black Keys, REM, The Pretenders, or Drivin and Cryin. I've been listening to podcasts as well- This American Life, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and Radiolab are probably my favorites at the moment.
I don't watch much TV but I love watching shows on Netflix when I'm painting. (Its too hard to watch TV for it's own sake) I love the X-Files, Futurama, Firefly, Archer, Bones, Dexter, Star Trek: Voyager, Warehouse 13, Criminal Minds, and Trigun, but generally it's just whatever gains my interest.
I love any spicy or ethnic food

New development: I like to think about why people on okcupid send me crazzzzzy messages!
For example, rickim420 recently sent me a message that said, "do you want to have sex you look really fun". My favorite part about this message is its poetic, yet painfully truthful, representation of a lusting, horny 20-something who's attempting to get some in this lonely online community of ours. Thank you rickim420 for your message, and no, we aren't going to have sex. (But thanks for the compliment about me being fun!)
Also, as a tall woman, I'd prefer someone who was at my height or taller. I have dated some awesome average height guys, but it was hard for me to adjust to it :(
