My self-summary
Let's see...I value creativity, generosity and education. I love when people do nice things for strangers, just because they feel like it. I laugh a lot and try not to take myself too seriously. I'm also incredibly sarcastic and most of the time my facial expressions speak louder than words (think Jim from The Office). I grew up with older brothers so it's a given that I love sports. NY Giants, Packers, Yankees, Devils and Nets.

I love live music and once traveled from North Carolina to New Jersey to see my favorite band on tour. Not one single regret.
Some other things I like...Scrabble, Super Mario Kart, beer, collecting vinyl records, dive bars and tattoos.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a teacher. That being said, I'm usually covered in glue, glitter or colored marker. Also, I have the patience of a saint (a necessity when dealing with 7 year olds all day).
I’m really good at
Cheering people up when they're down. Quoting movies in excess. Winning games of UNO and old school Super Nintendo Tetris.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: Empire Records, Ghostbusters, Step Brothers, Wayne's Word, The Goonies, Tommy Boy, Say Anything, Rocky, Back to the Future, Rudy. Marvel movies. Basically anything with Bill Murray, Will Ferrell or Mel Brooks.

TV: The Office, Scrubs, The Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Parks and Rec

Music: Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, Queen, Brand New, The Rolling Stones, Rancid, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bob Dylan...

Books: I'll read anything written by Stephen King. And because I'm a girl I've read just about every Nicholas Sparks book.

Food: Mint chocolate anything. Mexican.
The six things I could never do without
Family, friends, music, books, sports, my dog.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I want to travel to next.
On a typical Friday night I am
If my students have completely worn me out then I'm home Netflixing it. Most Fridays though I'm out with friends, usually at a show with a Victory beer in my hand.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love 1990s Pauly Shore movies. They're so bad, yet so unbelievably funny.
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humor and can appreciate the art of sarcasm. Definite plus if you can manage to write a grammatically correct sentence.
