My self-summary
Truth be told I'm a highly eccentric person. You'll probably never meet another like me. Usually rather serious in nature, but quite goofy and a dork if I'm comfortable with you.

I'm a fairly nerdy guy, I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and love to use big words. As a self-proclaimed engineer, I'm constantly working on new projects.

But in all seriousness, I'm a quintessential ENTP if you prescribe to the MBTI. I'm a Pieces, but I don't really believe in Astrology. I'm a green party liberal, but mostly dislike political labels too. And finally I'm a feminist in the proper definition of the word.

I like going out for drinks with friends and catching a movie every once in a while. I enjoy having fun, but not doing anything too crazy. No wild parties for me, but maybe a night at the bar.

By the way, I'm Rex. Yes that's my real name, and no, it's not short for anything.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an artist. Co-founder of the all but non-existant game studio Majesty 3D and mostly working on our current game project Castaway Kirk. Where I am pretty much the entire art department, half the writing team, and partial puzzle designer. I also do some 3D modeling freelance work. And at any given time work some job I dislike because the former things don't pay me much yet.
I’m really good at
I'm an Autodidact Polymath, and I know a great deal about a very wide breadth of topics. I get rather obsessive about learning things, and it tends to show. Although most of my interests and knowledge has a heavy scientific lean.

I will talk your ear off about shit you don't care about (see expatiate above) and it is okay, and encouraged, to interrupt me from time to time because you'll be unable to speak otherwise. (Also I have a terrible habit of interrupting people, I'm sorry, so ignore me if I happen to do so. It's okay, seriously.)

I collect archaic craftsmen skills.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I read a lot. Patrick Rothfuss is my favortie author (The Kingkiller Chronicals), and The Dresden Files is my favorite series of books (Jim Butcher). I pretty much read mostly fantasy in my fiction, but a great deal of non-fiction as well. I spend a great deal of time wikijumping.

Movie: Oh so many movies. I love movies. The Shawshank Redemption, Fight club, Good Will Hunting, are a few of my top favorites.

Shows: There will never, ever, be a show to topple Firefly from it's great "favorite" pedestal in my mind, but Stranger Things came really damn close. I also loved Breaking Bad. I enjoy Dark Matter. Orphan Black. Sherlock. Sense 8. Chuck. Buffy the vampire slayer. Eureka. Sliders. And all the Star Trek series.

Music: I have an eclectic taste in music. I listen to a lot of Jazz. A lot of Irish pub rock. Some Gypsy Punk, Metal, and Alternative. About the only thing I don't really like is Pop and pop-Country

Food: Pretty much anything with a lot of complex flavors. Indian, Middle eastern, and Thai especially.

Youtube channels: Scishow, Idea Channel, PBS spacetime, Vlogbrothers, and the1janitor

Podcasts: Star talk, Dear Hank and John, Penn's Sunday school, and The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe
The six things I could never do without
The global communication network that allows almost all computers worldwide to connect and exchange mostly cute cat photos & videos.

The practice or skill of preparing digestible carbon based yummy things by combining, mixing, and heating ingredients.

The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment... as long as you shout "SCIENCE!" while doing so.

The drink made from the roasted and ground beanlike seeds of a tropical shrub, typically served hot and if you give it to me iced or decaffeinated I'll probably cut you.

The organ of soft nervous tissue contained in the skull of vertebrates (sometimes named "Rex") functioning as the coordinating center of sensation and intellectual and nervous activity.

The written or printed works consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers. (No joke, these are serious.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I get to see a great deal of disrespect on here through my girlfriend's inbox. The whole thing is pretty bothersome. The whole aggressive male dominated dating system has been on my mind quite a bit.

I've been reading a lot about ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor) and fusion reactors in general. Fusion rocket theoretical designs are utterly fascinating right now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with my girlfriend and friends. Or working on 3D Modeling for whichever project I'm currently on.
You should message me if
You can be comfortable with someone who is straightforward and honest to a fault. I don't do subtle passive aggressive BS, and have no room for it in my life.

I swear a lot, deal with it.

You have to be comfortable with the fact that I'm in a relationship, and you could never replace that. I'm very open to all sorts of relationships, but they have to be based on open communication, trust, and friendship first.

And as they say in my home town, DFTBA.
