My self-summary
Was it a car or a cat I saw?

I've discovered there are 3834 match questions (this is outdated by more than a year now).

Defenestrate is one of my favorite verbs.

I wonder if anyone really checks personality bars.

A voracious consumer of knowledge that desires to always be doing more. My current primary interests are psychology, sociology, language, philosophy, taboos, cognition, neuroscience, medicine, transhumanism, and technology. At one point I was certain I would pursue math, biology, chemistry, physics, economics, or computer programming, but that's all for an alternate me to experience. I have a fascination with understanding intelligence, pathology, psychopathology, and social issues.

Outwardly I'm quite laid-back and make constant jokes, but if you want to talk about serious stuff you need only ask. I appreciate a dark sense of humor. I think games are one of the most interesting ways of coming to understand how people think and interact with one another. I also walk faster than everyone in a place where people are known for walking fast.

If you're interested in these:
INTP (or possibly INFP)
B+ (I hope you're not into me just for my blood)
What I’m doing with my life
Studying clinical psychology with the goal of an eventual PhD.
Seeking knowledge.
Contemplating how to improve the world.
Spreading knowledge.
Studying people.
Diving head-first into fluffy cats.
I’m really good at
Figuring things out. Autodidactism. Collecting quotes. Getting lost (inadvertent adventuring). Finding the absurdity in everything.
Having an inordinate amount of dreams about zombies. Having the mandatory keyword "zombies" in my profile. Equanimity. Trying to make things more efficient. Games of all types. Breaking social conventions. Distractions. Armchair philosophizing. Finding the positive in things. Hanging out in grocery stores. Doodling on every single page of every notebook I've ever written notes in.
The first things people usually notice about me
My severe lack of an exoskeleton.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: Spicy food. Healthy food. Chili powder. Tomato sauce. Steak. Boneless chicken. I try to like seafood, but I can't. I'm highly reluctant to eat pork due to years of conditioning not to. I avoid dairy except for the occasional ice cream, cake, or ice cream cake. I am well-known for my sweet tooth and I will sample all your desserts.

Shows: Typically sitcoms, comedy shows, or animated stuff. Adventure Time, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Xavier: Renegade Angel, Archer, Invader Zim, The Colbert Report, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Cowboy Bebop, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Angel, Game of Thrones, Jeopardy, Higurashi, Mirai Nikki, Nichijou.

Webcomics: xkcd, Cyanide and Happiness, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, For Lack of a Better Comic, Completely Serious Comics, Nedroid, Super Mega, Pictures for Sad Children, Bug, Axe Cop, Perry Bible Fellowship.

Music: I tend to listen to music from the soundtracks of various video games and like to think about how the composers intended the tracks to feel. Some of the music is exceptionally complex and it's amazing how composers have made such complex things even when the technology was limited. I enjoy listening for the motifs and finding the leitmotif in various tracks. You can gain a surprising amount of insight into the scenarios or world just from the gravitas of the music; I guess this applies to movies as well. This is why I never say anything when people ask me what type of music I listen to.

Movies: Pixar stuff, Disney stuff, DreamWorks stuff, Miyazaki's stuff, Tim Burton's stuff, The Door in the Floor, Me and You and Everyone We Know, The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, God Bless America, Happiness, Twelve and Holding, The Muppets, Tokyo Godfathers, Being John Malkovich, The World According to Garp, Pan's Labyrinth, A.I., Harold and Maude, The Departed, The Sea Inside, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I'm open to messages of just movie suggestions.

Books: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Half the Sky, Of Love and Other Demons, The Bluest Eye, Flowers for Algernon, The Stranger, White Teeth, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Plato and a Platypus Walk Into a Bar, Frankenstein, Man's Search for Meaning, The Giver, The Giving Tree, The Count of Monte Cristo, Great Expectations, Calvin and Hobbes, The Great Gatsby, Terry Pratchett, Haruki Murakami, Aesop's Fables, Grimms' Fairy Tales, Textbooks.
Six things I could never do without
Cats - I have two.
Internet - I don't really have it. You can't own it, I think.
Water - Everyone has to comment about my 1.5L bottle.
Sweets - Aside from cats this is what I'm known for.
Thought - It would be exceptional if you could live without it.
Three more wishes - I mean, c'mon - it should be easy to break genies.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. Taboos. Feminism. Progress. Social issues. Teleology. In-groups and out-groups. What knowledge I might impart if I ever suddenly end up back in time. Whether this is easier to read in list or paragraph form. New experiments. What a compilation of the profiles of this site would look like. Chaos theory. How to beat genies. Paradoxes. Palindromes. What research/improvements should we focus on now that will be sustainable or the building blocks of future advancements 100 or 1000 years from now? What are the chances of me finding the profile of someone I already know? How everything I learn about neuroscience and psychology seems tailored towards making super babies. The optimal ways of enacting social or worldwide changes/improvements.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a transdimensional cipher.
You should message me if
Liking cats might be mandatory.
You want to discuss words that have oddly specific meanings.
You read for fun.
You forget your age.
You want to explore a grocery store with me.
You want to break through all limitations.
You want to understand everything.
You want to free people from suffering.
You feel free of restrictions and can laugh about everything.

You find messaging people intimidating and just want to practice.

We probably won't get along if you're one of those rare(?) people who doesn't care about progress, the environment, or equality.

You want to put this match thing to the test.

These statistics bother you too:
