-I think nothing beats diner coffee.
-I have a short attention span when it comes to frivolous small talk, some people can talk forever without ever saying anything. I’m about the quality of the conversation. And worry not, goofy/playful/fun topics are always encouraged!!
-Breakfast. Not only is it the most important meal of the day, but it’s my favorite!! I hope it's yours too! Finding someone who appreciates the art of breakfast would make exploring breakfast joints that much more enjoyable!
-I'm from Canada, have lived in the US for 10 years, 6yrs in CT and last 4yrs in ATL, I figure subconsciously I was making my way southward to escape the wrath of that white stuff that falls from the sky, that I've always had a love/hate relationship with, love to see it, touch it, love feel the chill that goes with it, and then the best part of it is getting on a plane and leaving it all behind.....having said that I long for the day that I can downhill ski again, being an regular skier in my youth, I'd love to hit the mountain slopes again (any takers to check out the Rockies?) I figure skiing again after all these years will be as easy as riding a bike....right?....but I haven't ridden a bike in years either....well except the one at the gym....but that doesn't count, does it?....
-Flattened pennies. While the masses head to gift shops to buy t-shirts, I’m seeking out the squished penny machine!! My travel motto is: been there, done that, got a penny!
-I have a soft spot for skylines and rooftop patios, there are so many here in Atlanta. Getting dressed up and spending an evening exploring the rooftops of Atlanta, that would be fun with the right person. Equally enjoyable is dressing down and relaxing at your neighborhood dive bar. A place where you can sit at the bar, have a good beer on tap, and listen to music.
-I enjoy festivals, anything that gets you out and about. Trying local specialties. But I have to confess I do not understand the local fixation with funnel cakes.
-Love roller-coasters but have an aversion to heights! I LOVE fireworks.
-I'm a foodie of sorts so an adventurous palate would be nice, picky eaters need not apply because I love to cook and experiment with new recipes, an open-minded audience would be appreciated,
-Love to travel, near and far. Have been to Europe twice and have hardly scratched the surface of what there is to see. Not much of a beach person. I’d rather be wandering the cobble-stone streets of a distant city.
-Manners are a must. There is so much more beyond please and thank-you’s. Please be friendly to wait-staff and be able to show a knife and fork the respect they deserve.
What am I looking for?
I have no idea of what my other half will look like, only that I
have a definite idea of what the ideal person will make me feel like. Someone you can dress up with and dress down, someone I can take to meet my friends, and be able to pick up on the conversation, whatever it may be and run with it. Versatile in many situations. I want the romance, the pointless little phone calls that were only made so one could say hi. This stuff isn't gonna change the world, but it will mean the world to me. Great conversation is a must, but so is silence. Sitting in a cafe, discussing the ironies of life Please be kind, thoughtful, have a strong character, have ambition, have goals, and social graces. Life's too short, let's get started on this next chapter together!
-wondering whether or not it is too soon to go back to Little Bangkok for Pad Thai...I am one visit shy of being called a regular...
-when will I get to Kazakhstan, used wonder about Russia too, but a tentative plan to go there is in the works for this Fall, trez excited,
-wondering when the Waffle House will start selling its coffee beans
-if there is a way to clear the history on your iPhone so no one will ever find out just how much time one spends on it while at work....really, I'm just curious, for no particular reason, really, just wondering....
-wondering if it's about time (February) that I take the Halloween pumpkin off my front steps....cuz it's holding up really well, just have to glue on an eye or two and it'll be good to go for next year....and like October is just a few months away...
-if you think driving an hour away to Juliette, Georgia to check out the Whistlestop cafe sounds like fun
-if you lose interest at the word 'new' but get giddy and your heart skips a beat at the word 'vintage'
-if you think anytime is breakfast time
