My self-summary
I am a brewer of coffee, a maker of podcasts, and a cooker of meals.

I'm non-monogamous, and have a few delightful relationships in my life, but I'd really like to find a primary-type relationship, someone to come home to. Please note, this is about a desire for domesticity, I don't love hierarchical relationship models.

I'm probably to the left of you politically, but as long as you feel comfortable self-identifying as some sort of socialist, we'll do just fine.

Feminism and anti-racism should go without saying, but, tragically, they never do, so consider them said.

Kindness and compassion are my emotional and ethical compasses.
What I’m doing with my life
I collaborate with a couple amazing friends to make a podcast, that has been more successful than I ever hoped. I pay the bills working in specialty coffee.
I’m really good at
Making coffee, retaining information, giving gifts, teaching people how to make coffee, TCBing, making it look easy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm rocking dark blue hair these days, so probably that. Props to the students at the Paul Mitchell school in SOMA for keeping me looking good.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Authors: Thomas Pynchon, William Burroughs, Tom Robbins, Robert Anton Wilson, Phillip K Dick, Allan Moore, Grant Morrison, Neal Stephenson, Hunter Thompson, Warren Ellis, Hakim Bey

Filmmakers: Kubrick, Wells, Coppola, Scorsese, The Coen Brothers, Gilliam, Aronofsky, Kevin Smith, Tarantino, P.T. Anderson, Charlie Kaufman (I know, he's a screenwriter...) Mamet, Woody Allen

T.V.: Golden Age Simpsons, Archer, Futurama, Venture Brothers, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, The Wire, BSG, Dr. Who (I'm old school on this one, I used to tape the late night PBS broadcasts of the original run on my Betamax as a kid.)

Music: I like hip hop (mostly underground stuff,) jazz, electronica, a weird array of rock bands, and world music. I'm open to most any kind of music, but I find myself less motivated to immerse myself in it as I get older.

I like whole delicious foods of all sorts. I also love to cook.
Six things I could never do without
Love, art, coffee, conversation, conviviality, chaos
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The people around me, coffee, books I'm reading, epistemology, food, sex, intimacy, politics, the mystical experience.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sometimes it's a semi-weekly board game night (seriously geeky games here, Eclipse, Through the Ages, Terra Mystica, etc. No Sorry or Risk here,) sometimes seeing a weird piece of dance or performance art (I have a partner who works at amazing theaters, yay comps,) often trying to catch up on missed gym time. Typicality had never been a strong feature of my life, Fridays are as unique as fingerprints.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
With my new short haircut, I suddenly feel like an adult.
You should message me if
You find monogamy absurd.
You have a high caffeine tolerance that you'd like to test.
You have geeky interests: games, comics, science, philosophy.
You are a psychonaut and want to explore with me.
You are politically radical and want to compare praxis.
Sex-positive a must, pro-sex highly desired.
Burners to the front (aspirational burners count.)
