I'm a constantly curious and compassionate guy.
NYC via music school in Boston. I work in the music industry. I specialize in touring, live sound, interactive performance systems, and studio recording.
I'm 99% done with my MFA. I spent the last couple years splitting my time between touring and school. I'm finishing my penultimate semester as we speak, going back on tour for 2016, then coming back to write my thesis.
Music is my life, so that's a whole rabbit hole of a conversation to have.
I do love finding new books, movies, music. I love recommendations and finding out what other people are into... I have a book hoarding problem which makes moving a real pain in the ass.
Finishing a book. That's a damn good feeling.
P.T. Anderson, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick...
Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz, Malcolm Gladwell and a whole shitload of non-fiction.
Ohhhh and NPR -> Radiolab, This American Life, Invisibilia, and 99%.
Live music, playing music, recording music
I tie my shoes once every 3 to 4 months.
I used to have a cat named Dino... like the purple dinosaur from the Flintstones.
