My self-summary
Currently I am working on my master's degree at HSU, in psychology. My life has changed in such great and amazing ways since I moved up to Humboldt county! I hope one of those changes will be to find that special someone!
I am pursuing my masters to become a marriage and family therapist. I consider myself to be a dedicated, empathetic, compassionate person, which is one of the reasons I wanted to become a therapist.
I am recently an uncle and beam anytime someone brings her up! She is so cute, I love my niece!
It is important that I find someone who shares my religious beliefs, I’m Catholic. I attend mass pretty regularly. I used to be a lector for mass back home too.
I love the water, I love to swim (although not on the coast, too cold! lol). Sometimes I feel most at home in the water (especially Lake Tahoe!)
I haven't exercised as much as I like to since grad school began, but I am getting back into it. I have been looking into hiking at local trails lately.
I live in an apartment right now, but when I have a place that permits I like doing home improvement projects or building things.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in my second semester of graduate school (aced the first semester! WoopWoop! lol) Making a little money working with clients right now, but looking for some more consistent and better paying work.
Also hanging out with friends, enjoying the (hopefully) last couple years of college. Hiking, hanging out, just having fun, really enjoying life!
I’m really good at
Everything... no seriously I can't think of anything I suck at... well, maybe being humble. lol
The first things people usually notice about me
I have noticed that people seem to feel pretty at ease talking to me, so I think I have a very open comforting vibe about me.
I think people also tend to notice that I look younger than I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book- been reading mostly textbooks lately, but when I read for leisure I like dystopian novels or sci-fi/fantasy novels.
Shows- Brooklyn nine-nine, x-files, friends, spin city, walking dead, flip or flop, once upon a time.
Music- Country and classic rock mainly, but I listen to everything. Train, Luke Bryan, Paramore, Diana Krall....
Movies- My Cousin Vinny, 10 things I hate about you, back to the future trilogy, the breakfast club, multiplicity, Wayne's World. There are more, but I don't think I could ever get tired of any of the ones I listed.
Six things I could never do without
-My family and friends (cause sometimes your friends are your family, and your family are your friends)

-God (my faith, which keeps me looking to the future with hope)

-The opportunity to learn more (I love random facts, and being in grad school I am learning all the different ways to help future clients)

-Quality cooking equipment (nothing is worse than using a crappy knife or an electric stove)

-Laughter (I'm very easily entertained)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Honestly, what readings I have to do for classes, and budgeting time to do them. lol
But aside from school I tend to think (scheme) alot about the future, planning financially and whatnot.
You should message me if
-If anything I wrote made you laugh or nod along in agreement, and you want to get to know my better, then by all means message me if you beat me to the punch.
I am hoping to find someone that will turn into something long term.
