I am pursuing my masters to become a marriage and family therapist. I consider myself to be a dedicated, empathetic, compassionate person, which is one of the reasons I wanted to become a therapist.
I am recently an uncle and beam anytime someone brings her up! She is so cute, I love my niece!
It is important that I find someone who shares my religious beliefs, I’m Catholic. I attend mass pretty regularly. I used to be a lector for mass back home too.
I love the water, I love to swim (although not on the coast, too cold! lol). Sometimes I feel most at home in the water (especially Lake Tahoe!)
I haven't exercised as much as I like to since grad school began, but I am getting back into it. I have been looking into hiking at local trails lately.
I live in an apartment right now, but when I have a place that permits I like doing home improvement projects or building things.
Also hanging out with friends, enjoying the (hopefully) last couple years of college. Hiking, hanging out, just having fun, really enjoying life!
I think people also tend to notice that I look younger than I am.
Shows- Brooklyn nine-nine, x-files, friends, spin city, walking dead, flip or flop, once upon a time.
Music- Country and classic rock mainly, but I listen to everything. Train, Luke Bryan, Paramore, Diana Krall....
Movies- My Cousin Vinny, 10 things I hate about you, back to the future trilogy, the breakfast club, multiplicity, Wayne's World. There are more, but I don't think I could ever get tired of any of the ones I listed.
-God (my faith, which keeps me looking to the future with hope)
-The opportunity to learn more (I love random facts, and being in grad school I am learning all the different ways to help future clients)
-Quality cooking equipment (nothing is worse than using a crappy knife or an electric stove)
-Laughter (I'm very easily entertained)
But aside from school I tend to think (scheme) alot about the future, planning financially and whatnot.
I am hoping to find someone that will turn into something long term.
