If you have a dozen cats (give or take a few) and dress them up and give them human names, such as "Mr. Toodles" or "Lady Priscilla" and have make-believe tea parties with them, well, we may not be an ideal match.
I am neither a "glass half-full" or "glass half-empty" kind of person. I just wonder why they don't use a smaller glass
I am in shape. Round is a shape!
Please, no one likes walking on the beach at sunset! Just sayin'
Hard to believe that I am in my 12th year back up north (after 30+ yrs in Texas). I was a caregiver for my father. WHY AM I STILL UP NORTH???
I am a writer by day (please ignore all typos). I am also a traveler. I have witnessed 24 hours of daylight near the Arctic Circle, ate Kimchi with the locals, adventure was all around me in Russia (even met the real Boris and Natasha), saw the real Lake Geneva, snorkeled where the fresh water meets the ocean in Xcaret (and Xel-ha) and after a road trip to Fargo, ND, I have now set foot all 48 states. Really, Hawaii is a string of volcanoes and Alaska is a glacier! Are those really states??
I love the ocean (Gulf Coast and/or the Caribbean). However, I have been known to take the Metra and go downtown to plays and spend the weekend at one of the hotels overlooking the lakeshore! It's not the Caribbean but it will have to do for now!
NOTE: If you are a 25 to 32 year old woman (or man) from Ghana, the Philippines, or some country I didn't even know existed, I have NO plans to ever visit your homeland or send you money to visit me! You do NOT love me! Nor can you have my babies. They wouldn't want to go to your country either!!!

However, the Millenium Trilogy ("Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," "The Girl Who Played With Fire," and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest") was pretty awesome. You HAVE to see the original, expanded Swedish versions (subtitled). They are each about 3 hours long. I have the books on my Kindle but have not read them as of now.
Give me a live performance and I will be there (concerts, theatre, comedy clubs, . . .)
Food? EVERYTHING is good when looking out over the Gulf - or any lake or ocean! OK, delete kimchi and calimari from that list!!
But being back up north, I MISS TEX-MEX! AND Texas bar-b-que! And Sonics! Ever try to order chicken fried steak and fried okra up north? Ha!
3. A hammer
4. Bungee cords
...and just to complete the list,
6. Texas BBQ
OK, that's the entire list. Remember, if it moves and it shouldn't, duct tape it! If it doesn't move but it should, WD-40 it!! If it is stuck, hammer it!!!! And then go out for TexMex (or BBQ).
Life doesn't need to be any more complicated than that!!!
