My self-summary
I don't have nearly the amount of animals I used to (just a dog now, down from two dogs, two cats and two parrots). Still an animal lover but I'd probably stick to no more than two pets from now on.

For what it's worth my undergrad is in philosophy so yes I enjoy general learning/research and discussing various topics. Overall I am not really a traditionalist and always prefer the latest and greatest pretty much.

I am a night owl through and through, left to my own schedule I'll gravitate towards going to bed somewhere around 3am and sometimes around 5amish or occasionally later. I get excited noticing people are on at 5am until I realize they are waking up now and are actually morning people. Not that I can't function during the day if I need to of course.
What I’m doing with my life
I now have space on my own bed (please see photos section for before pictures). Although my one dog finds a way to take up the whole bed when he does come up.

Expanding my group of friends since almost everyone else has left the state for job opportunities and the like (I am definitely happy for them though).
I’m really good at
I have a very good memory in general and specifically for quoting movies back later (not exact, but rather close). I don't know what it is about movies/tv in particular, I'm just good at it.

I tend to be one of those people that knows a lot of random miscellaneous things that are neat to learn but generally not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Not to be overly cliche but I am the person that people come to talk to, whether its problems or what have you. I always knew I was good at it but it wasn't until I had people actually say things like I can always come talk to you / you're completely honest and open / have you considered doing this as a career etc. that I really thought about it in that manner (trying and probably failing to not come off as conceited here). It is definitely the single thing I enjoy doing most.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look significantly younger than I actually am.

My hair if it's longer.

My (lack of) height.

I apparently have freakishly small hands even for my height.

Recently I was told I have sexy lips. It's not the kind of compliment men usually hear but I don't care, I'll take it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Almost all science fiction books, I pretty much read every sci-fi book at my high school library during my free periods (Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein, Crichton, and many more).

Movies for me are mostly drama and sci-fi, although I do also like certain types of comedies, action, thrillers, and so on. I see at least one movie a week at the theater basically in addition to older stuff. Being weird as I am I do have a list of every movie I've seen since I started college, if you're really that interested I can send it to you.

TV is a very long list really, including have seen/watching/going to see which you can ask about.

Music I'm sort of weird, it's pretty much all metal and orchestrated/other lighter genres with some in-between, although I do like some other types of rock and some bands that don't fit those genres. No I am not going to try and convert you.

For food I actually don't like candy/pastries really, but I am a sucker for ice cream and hamburgers. I'm one of those people that just isn't hungry most of the time and I tend not to be an adventurous eater. If you shove it in my face I might try it but I'm definitely not going to be recommending new restaurants. Sorry.

Adding in video games to the list, just because I'd be lying if I said they're not my primary activity during leisure time (and time that isn't for leisure activities if I'm being particularly bad). I'm not even going to try fitting them all in here, I actually maintain a list of games I've beaten and have left to beat. If that's really your sort of thing you'll have to ask me for them.
Six things I could never do without
This is going to be a boring/typical list, but ok (no particular order):

1. Talking to people about whatever issue they wanted advice on/sympathy or to hear it's not only them/just to say out loud etc.
2. My computer/the internet/video games
3. Movies
4. Music - Particularly if I'm in my car
5. TV
6. If I can be corny for a moment, my friends/animals/etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything and anything, If I start thinking about one thing it tends to remind me/lead me to another and so on.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually just chatting with friends online / playing video games online with them or while talking to them / reading various websites, nothing really exciting. Every so often I'll do a board/card game night (no not your usual stuff). I'll try a lot of other activities, provided you first demonstrate that you can do them without dying. I'm definitely a you first kind of person (I know, I'm so daring).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm willing to admit pretty much anything. I don't just volunteer things out of nowhere though since that can be rather creepy/uncomfortable for others, so if you want to know something about me you'll have to ask.

It's far from private but I love to cuddle, and because I generate relatively little body heat (yes it has its drawbacks too) I'm good for all nighters that don't turn into sweat lodge sessions. Please refer to Ghostbusters II as to why I usually end up the little spoon (not that I mind).
You should message me if
you have any questions what-so-ever (as above under the most private thing I'm willing to admit) or you want to comment on / debate something in my profile.

The not at all for drinking isn't due to some belief I'm going to cram down your throat, I just don't care for it.

I got a message asking if I would only date women shorter than me; apparently that's a criteria for some other short guys. Considering that half of women are taller than I am I'd say that would be dumb of me to say no. So yeah, long winded answer that I do not have a height range. Shorter, taller, doesn't matter.

Since it seems to be either within 25 miles or anywhere under looking for and neither is true, I'm basically willing to go up to about 90 minutes away. That is not a hard limit, just a general one. Anywhere does apply for friends though.
