My self-summary
*A little out-of-date, but you get the gist... I'll update soon!*

Hey, I'm Rob. I'm a designer who's just moved back up to work for a charity in London after an 8-month hiatus down in the countryside. I loved being down by the forest and beach, but I'm excited to be back up somewhere with some liveliness!

I'm now living in Hackney, right by London Fields! As a south-of-the-river man, I'm pretty much entirely clueless about east London, so I'm looking forward to exploring and finding some good Sunday pubs…
What I’m doing with my life
Getting back into the swing of city living.

Outside of work, heading back down to the New Forest as often as I can, to spend time with my amazing nephews (I love that one of my best friends is a 3-year-old!).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Terry Pratchett, Stephen King, Bill Bryson, Matthew Reilly... I love to read, but I realised recently that I tend to go through the same kinds of books, so I'm making my way through some classics at the moment.

Movies - I like my action/adventure films (the Indiana Jones Trilogy tops it for me), but I'm happy watching most films, and like a good comedy or horror.

Shows - Pretty much any David Attenborough documentary. I recently finished watching Buffy from start to finish, and it's now up their in my favourites (I love Clem!). Love a bit of Modern Family or South Park, and I'm finally going through Arrested Development at the moment (marry me!).

Music - I grew up with 80s rock and then 90s/00s punk, and that pretty much set me up with my taste in music — as long as it's got a guitar in it, I'll probably like it!

Food - Almost anything. I like most foods, and I'll happily try something new. My one food regret is that I didn't get round to trying fried crickets in Thailand! I'm definitely more of a sweet person though — I love my stodgy, British puddings! (Spotted Dick, anyone?)
The six things I could never do without
Tea, Biros and Paper (for doodling), Books, a Bed, Passport.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
…How many times in a morning I can hit 'Snooze'.
On a typical Friday night I am
No such thing for me right now! The last couple of weekends have been a mix of Spareroom-ing, Netflix binging, and karaoke.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think that Nandos is only OK.
You should message me if
You know a fun bar to suggest. I'm happy to be adventurous with cocktails. Or how about bowling? That's always fun… (Barriers down, though!) I've spent most of the last few months out in the sticks, talking to toddlers, so frankly I'm an easy one to please on this front!

You're someone who's not too shy to make fun of me, because I'll be giving it back just as much — I like a girl who doesn't take herself too seriously!
