My self-summary
I’m a positive, easy going, and reasonably intelligent person. I'm outgoing and will talk with anyone. Others think I'm funny and I have to say I often see things through a humorous lens, though I care deeply and keep informed about political and social issues.
Music, film, painting, theater keep my creative sensibilities fed. Photography is my main artistic and professional mainstay. Although I’m city born and love it here, particularly Brooklyn, I am very happy to camp in the backwoods, kayaking, snowboarding being by the ocean.

The love of stories – hearing them and telling them, is a big part of me. I’ve done that in photography, books, and film, but I’d just as soon hear one told to me as tell my own. Even better is to swap those tales over great food. Cooking is both a pleasure and renewing ritual and good eating is the just reward. I grow some of the ingredients in my Brooklyn garden, a cool little hideaway that brings the elements a little closer amidst all the hard city edges.

Six things I could never do without
cooking & eating
my kids
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what's for dinner?
On a typical Friday night I am
At a film, listening to music, cooking dinner for friends, out and about, decompressing, on my way out of town
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Why would I want to do that?
You should message me if
if I've sparked your curiosity to know more.
