What I’m doing with my life
I work at a design firm designing parks and neighborhoods, I ride my bike, I play soccer, I think a lot, and sometimes I take pictures and post them on Instagram (ig: robinjohnwinter). I fix old film cameras as a hobby and I'm trying to learn rally racing.

I just bough a hammock and am looking for any excuse to use it. I'm trying to hike and travel more.

All about the healthy and active lifestyle, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. Love to laugh and go on random adventures.
I’m really good at
Really more of a jack of all trades. I've made furniture, ceramics, won photography competitions, I teach martial arts, I can fix things, cook, scuba dive, all kinds of stuff. Not the best at any of them, but I'm well rounded!

Just found out that I have 100% accurate color vision, so I guess I'm really good at seeing colors?

My cat, Hunter, would say pets and cuddling. I'm inclined to agree. I excell at pets and cuddling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love books and movies that involve mystery, adventure, excitement and/or comedy. I also always love a good revenge or redemption story.

As far as music, I love Goth, New Wave, Industrial, and Synth Pop. Currently absolutely in love with The Birthday Massacre, CHVRCHES, M83, MNDR, and Purity Ring. And 90s R&B, yeah, go figure... And for some reason I've been on a mariachi kick the last few weeks. Must be homesick.

Food wise, I prefer eating healthy, but I'm always down to try something new and exciting: pig ear, bear, sea urchin, crickets, jellyfish, fish liver, snake... Yep, tried them all.

Beyond that, being from El Paso, I absolutely love Norteno style Mexican food.
The six things I could never do without
Spontaneous adventures with good friends, the kind that inexplicably end with hopping a fence and jumping off a fake waterfall into a random pool at 4am...

The warm days and cool nights of spring and fall.

The endorphin rush from playing a few hours of pickup soccer.

My cat Hunter.

Barton Springs; there's no better way to cool off during an Austin summer.

Passion. I mean there is nothing better than seeing someone's eyes light up when they talk about something they REALLY care about.

Coconut water.

Yeah, that's six but I fucking love coconut water!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Love, Cameras, photography, happiness, connection, emotions, vulnerability, design, the vastness of, if I have an unhealthy love of museums...
On a typical Friday night I am
Pretty much guaranteed I'm leaving work early, taking a nap, playing soccer, and then having a chill night at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have tinnitus from going to too many shows and from playing in an industrial band when I was younger, so going to SXSW or FFFF are unfortunately out for me.
You should message me if
You're a tomboy, not really into girly girls.

You want to play laser tag, go to an arcade, hit the rock climbing wall and pretend to be on American Gladiators, go hiking/chill in hammocks and read, or go to a museum...I'm always down.

Also, if this sounds as fantastic to you as it does to me: sitting on the benches by the Long Center pond at night looking out at the city lights listening to New Order.

You have mad cooking skills and want to go to MT supermarket (or equivalent) and teach me about all the wonderful ingredients that I have no idea about, and then go cook some delicious food with me.

You think Frankenstein Girls seem Strangely Sexy.
