My self-summary
Hi everyone, I'm Robbie and I think the best word to describe me would be 'eclectic', which I suppose means I'm a bit weird and random. As such my interests range from the ancient Japanese art of origami, to the not-so-ancient Japanese art of karaoke (much better for nights out I find!). Speaking of which I do love to go out, but must admit I prefer a good laugh in a pub to a rave in a club, but will happily do either, especially if the club happens to be playing old school cheesey music which will usually resort me to fits of ecstasy!

Like most people, I love films and books but I think I take that love to a whole new level. My collections of both eclipse many small Blockbuster outlets and libraries! I'm a big fan of music as well, particularly rock and metal, and like to go to see live music when I can.

If I was to compare myself to anyone, it would to that god-among-mortals Stephen Fry, not because I'm homosexual and bi-polar you understand, but because we both share an innate desire to know everything about everything. Thus I have become the master of useless and inane trivia! This is usually achieved by wiki-walking, a practise more addictive than all the drugs in the world put together!

Hope to hear from you lovely people soon!
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment I'm on the look out for new friends, rather than a partner. I need new peeps to go out and have fun with!
I’m really good at

I'm sorry, what did you say?

Ha ha!

Ok I'm clearly not good at comedy! lol
The first things people usually notice about me
Cheeky grin maybe?

Beard and a lumberjack shirt?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I do love my music, especially rock and metal such as Evanescence, Linkin Park, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Paramore, Tenacious D etc. At the moment I'm really obsessed with classic stuff so I'm pretty much living on AC/DC, Queen, Meatloaf, Genesis and the like.

I tend to lean towards fantasy/sci fi literature or thrillers. Favourite literature includes Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings, Pride And Prejudice, Pride And Prejudice And Zombies (exactly like it sounds!), Red Dwarf, Chronicles Of Narnia, His Dark Materials and The Machine Gunners. Also I will read anything by James Patterson, Daniel Easterman, Antony Horrowitz, Michael Crichton, Paul Adam, Steve Alten, Aaron Allston, Tom Clancy, and Kevin Smith.

Most epic movies include The Guns Of Navarone, Transformers, Die Hard, Star Wars, Dirty Harry, Schindler's List, The Princess Bride, Hunt For Red October, Lord Of The Rings, Friday 13th, the Bonds, Jurassic Park, Euro Trip, Serenity, Advent Children, Iron Man, The Crow, Clerks, V For Vendetta, Jaws, anything by Tim Buton and of course every single Disney film!

I have a rule in life, I'll try anything once. Though it applies across the board, it is mostly exercised when it comes to food. For instance recently I discovered that I actually quite like uncooked noodles, who knew?!
Six things I could never do without
1. Liberty - "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" Optimus Prime

2. Ben & Jerrys - Half Baked in particular if you're asking

3. Chums - Thats my friends, not the skit they used to do on SMTV Live

4. Music - There is nothing in this world that seems to evoke more emotion in me than music

5. Stephen Fry - And the legendary qualities he exemplifies

6. Banter - A good natter, argument or chat is always welcome!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How the world would be much cooler if it was like an adventure movie, you know with epic battles between good and evil, the nice guys winning the day and the evil fiends getting their just desserts! This is probably why I like sci fi/fantasy books and films so much, I can't handle the normal world!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well if I did that, it wouldn't be private now would it!?

If you want to know about my private things, you'll have to ask!
You should message me if
You fancy a chat, a bit of banter, a debate, hell even an argument, I'm game!

If you happen to agree that "Invisible Touch" by Genesis is the greatest song of all time! Be warned though, if you do there is a high likelihood I will try to marry you! lol
