My self-summary
I will be in Seattle the first week of September. Anyone who hasn't traipsed off to Burning Man wanna show me around?

I am equal parts Andy Dwyer and Ron Swanson.
on the lookout for lowbrow art openings
nights out dancing that end the next day at a strangers party in the woods
quiet-pants less movie/book nights in.
I also enjoy meeting people and luring them in to my wait...what site is this again? Board games... board games not basement.
I'm an QA guy for local software company.
Don't have Plus, can't see Likes, please just say hello.

I'd love to meet new crafty people, fellow yard sale pillagers or an interesting soul to grab coffee with.

In the interest of being authentic and genuine as possible it's important that you know that I'm kinky and non monogamous and those things are necessary for my happiness.
What I’m doing with my life
Software testing, Cycling, picking up heavy things ( i take traditional German longsword instruction on the weekends ). Being a generally kinky bastard. READING, no..not for a class. Putting together Go bags. cutting leather, sewing leather, gluing leather. Furnishing. Rolling dice, slaying goblins, moving meeples, getting all the points.
I’m really good at
Constructing, but not so much at measuring. Making fairly inappropriate/out of date jokes. Setting gender roles on fire. Spotting bullshit and making a clean escape. costuming. packing light. decluttering. being wildly extroverted.
The first things people usually notice about me
big smile, full laugh, fussed over hair, odd t-shirt, that i look 10-15 years younger than i am?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Martian, Southern Bastards, Black Science, Ready Player One, lots of comic books, The Walking Dead, The First Law Series, Finch, Joe Abercrombie, Charles Stross, Warren Ellis, Burroughs, Jack Vance, Matt Fraction, Grant Morrison, Alan Moore.

in no order:
Looper, Barbarella, Children of Men, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Conan the Barbarian the old one, this is necessary for leather/metalwork, The Producers the old one as well, The Incredibles, Flash Gordon, Cabin in the woods, Avengers, Ed Wood, pretty much anything with Bill Murray, Sam Rockwell or David Bowie in it. I liked Prometheus and didn't really care for any of the modern Dark Knight films, so there.

Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead especially @ Motorco , Adventure Time, both series of Avatar, Parks and Recreation, Sherlock, Orange is the new Black, Bravest Warriors, Sense8,Bob's Burgers No Reality TV Ever. EVER

Umm..let's do wide strokes, shall we?
Disco Electro, Postrock, 90's College Rock, Fuzzy Rock, some Surf. Anything that could be in the soundtrack of a Fallout game, Doom Metal, Indie folk, anything i shake my fool ass too, Mashups, atmospheric stuff.

yes. make it spicy and meaty, or dainty and flowery. I try to keep it Paleo. I really only dislike raw tomatoes, excessive onions and weird textures. Also I'm kind of a Beer snob. Don't get me wrong i love a Yeungling ( RIP Yenugling you supported Trump and I can no longer drink you) or PBR every now and again but generally I go for the deepest, darkest Stout i can find. If i wanted to drink an IPA ...i'd just drink a mug of grassy thumbtacks.
Six things I could never do without
retro science fiction

velvet paintings

Rick and Morty

Peppermint Butler

Tina from Bob's Burgers

p.s. this question kind of annoys me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Consent models, inclusivity, Personal advancement, how much i hate yardwork, Camping, primitive skills training , vacationing abroad.
On a typical Friday night I am
either thinking ...why the hell did we plan EVERYTHING tonight. or. Why the hell didn't we plan ANYTHING tonight?
Checking out Retrofantasma.
I am a big fan of Rigsbee street in durham. One of the bars on Rigsbee generally has something going on.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My Bear BFF once told me that i am the cattiest straight man he knows.

I am, without being rude or diminishing, over social anxiety and perpetual hermiting.

i am a feminist. If that elicits an "eww" or "but dudes can't be" response, please read this or move along.

i will judge you by your shoes.
You should message me if
you read my profile..really and saw the kinky and non-mono bits , REALLY, and know that i'm serious. REALLY.
you like furry dudes. (furry not Furries)
you want to talk about absurd dadaist theater.
you're into Santacon (to me it's more fun than Halloween)
you understand that talking about sex and flirting can be vastly disparate things.
you want to hammock camp and build primitive structures in the woods.
you have little to no interest in traditional sports.
you are whimsical AND practical AND not a flake.
You know that you have words, how to use them and having a conversation is not like pulling teeth.
You'd like to go out for coffee and spankings.
you want to talk, at length, about 15th century Hungarian mercenary armies.
