My self-summary
Race cars, rockets, and risotto: all things that I am liable to be tangling with regularly. Finally out of GT and working in a job that I surprisingly love, given that it's literally not rocket science. Life's all about exploring; there are new opportunities to experience everywhere, and I'm always looking for new challenges. Here's a short list of cool stuff:

Racing: I autocross with the Sports Car Club of America. Basically, it's driving around a course laid out in pylons for fastest time. Also, go karts :)

Astronomy: Here's a couple fun facts. 1) We're all literally made of stardust, as many of the heavier elements in our bodies was created by supernovae. 2) Given enough time, hydrogen will start to think about its own existence.

Food: Food is good. Good food is amazing. Amazing food cannot be described in words. Sushi is one of my favorites. Also, go watch "Jiro Dreams of Sushi", seriously.

Space Travel: One of my goals in life is to help increase access to space. I've taken apart, assembled, fueled (liquid oxygen is cold!) and helped test liquid fueled rockets. Making supersonic hot flamey stuff come out the bottom is pretty damn neat.

Regular Travel: I've been to 6 of 7 continents. Only Antarctica left...

Technical Theater: Mostly lighting design and electrical work, but I've been known to act once in a blue moon or two.

That's a good start for now. The rest, we'll save for later!
What I’m doing with my life
Nowadays, I work at a software company up in Dunwoody, and when not doing that, working out or racing or cooking, or just chilling with some friends.

I do have a few goals for my life though. I want to fly into space (Crazy at first, but given the work in my field, a real possibility). That, or aerodynamic development for motorsport; always trying to make things faster.
I’m really good at
My big passion now is autocross. It's a test of driver skill on a timed course (more details on Wikipedia). I love the intensity of those 50-70 seconds where nothing else matters except for your racing line.

I've done a lot of theater work too. I used to be active in the theater at Georgia Tech, doing backstage stuff mostly involving lighting.

I try and stay active, working out regularly and I did karate for years. Fitness is generally pretty important for me, and I do try and eat well, lift hard, and run fast.
The first things people usually notice about me
My enthusiasm. If they get me talking about something I'm passionate about, I'm a force to be reckoned with. It's either that, or they notice that I'm brown...

(N.B.: I have a rather sarcastic sense of humor. What fun is it if you can't make fun of yourself too?)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love stories about human endurance and perseverance, like "Apollo 13", "Endurance", "Into Thin Air". Other random books, "Dune", "Requiem for Battleship Yamato", "Enders Game", etc. Plus, any and all manner of information out there.

Movies, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Monty Python, Le Mans, Iron Man, Master and Commander, Dr. Strangelove, Equilibrium, and plenty more.

Shows, Top Gear UK, Arrested Development, Archer, Breaking Bad, The IT Crowd, True Blood, 30 Rock, etc. I suck at making lists...

Music, Rock, Jazz, Electronic, epic Classical stuff, Trance, etc. Pretty much anything except Rap or Country.

Food, any and all. I love food in all its forms and flavors, and trying new things, no matter how weird or exotic, is the best. From sushi, to steak, to guinea pig (It does taste kind of like chicken...), I'll try anything once if it's in front of me. However, I love simple things that are executed with precision. A properly made burger or steak is heaven (Gasp! An Indian who eats beef?!).
Six things I could never do without
1: My family/friends.
2: My education and imagination.
3: Connectivity (internet/phone/ham radio, etc).
4: My car and my go kart.
5: My Audio/Video setups.
6: My cookware.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why OKC insists on thinking that my personality is primarily compatible with vegetarians and/or vegans.
On a typical Friday night I am
It's what everyone says, but going out with friends for food and drinks, or going over to their place to watch movies and chill. Hey, at least I'm being honest.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sometimes watch certain movies, like "Julie and Julia" or "Enchanted", and I may like it... Or maybe I just like Amy Adams?
You should message me if
1: You like finding and trying new places to go eat.
2: You want to go on a photography expedition.
3: You like Guinness or Belgian ales.
4: You know the difference between NASCAR and F1.
5: You completely disregarded the above and just feel like messaging.
